Found the wave 5 release in sweden with Enigma, Fling kong and Flip Wreck
There was also some old cores with the following description?

Absolutely didn't knew anything about these All Stars Skylanders.
Great find!

Whatever they are I'm glad Echo, Blackout and Spotlight is one of the All-Stars.

Whatever they are they can't be new in-game variants, so not too excited. The most they could be are figures with new/alt paint jobs.

Probably just re-releases of cores from later waves in different packaging.

I'm not sure,but all but Spotlight and Blackout are from the wave where the horrible paintjobs were everywhere. Maybe it's an excuse to rerelease them with better quality?

This isn't a bad idea at all.

They would all need some small or big tweaks (pariculary Trail Blazer *grrrrrr*).

I don't think the All-Stars are going to be anything special aside from maybe a different packaging.

My spolight and blackout were ok, only one small error with blackout and that was he was missing a little bit of paint in the centre of his left eye, hopefully its just an error in terms of naming last i knew there was only 5 waves...if these are alternate paintjobs that would be pretty cool especially if they switched spotlight and blackouts colour schemes seeing spotlight in a dark colour scheme would be pretty interesting

I'll be stopping off in Stockholm on a cruise in a little over a week on June 5th. I'd definitely be interested in checking these out, but not sure which shops in Stockholm would carry them

The strange thing is that wave 5 also is released 5/6 and have Echo, Bat Spin, Rocky Road and High Five with normal names.

Send me a PM mastermc54 and I could try to locate a shop for you.

Hence why i touched up my High Five, Trail Blazer and completely repainted my Bat Spin...(the pic's are in the Custom thread in Skylanders: Toys and Merchandise)

I don't think this will happen but what if it's a sign for Skylanders 5 characters? I'd love to see High Five, Echo, Spotlight and Blackout return. SSF did have a ton of Giants charecters (6/8 cores) so a bunch of STT charecters wouldnt be impossible. If this game is racing or vehicles High Five and Zap are absolutely needed. The final evidence is the date 5/6. We don't know the year and it's already 5/28/15. We have been getting a lot of leaks lately so it wouldn't be impossible if you stumbled on new charecters for the new game.

My educated guess is that these won't be anything different at all and that the "All Stars" title is just someone at Activision/Toys for Bob being cute with naming the first non-new-character wave. As all of the characters being released were high sellers with a lot of demand for more stock when it ran out, the "All Stars" part probably just refers to their ranking in sales moreso than any special promotion. I seriously doubt that after the semi-failure of the Eon's Elite that a handful of cores would be put into alt-deco packaging and rereleased to try to scare up extra collector dollars.

Just because we have them doesn't mean all the ones who wanted them actually fulfilled their desire.

Aside for the fact it isn't very respectful to call a high quality product like Skylanders "garbage" (I never bought variants not even in-game ones but this doesn't mean I have the right to say they aren't worth the money of other people) they might not even be variants.

They might be the exact same characters with slightly better paintjobs and a better quality.
Or simply a re-release of the same characters.
Would they still be garbage?

My opinion: they're trying to do WHATEVER they can to sell the stock, as Trap Team has undersold by 15% this year. They can put lipstick on Echo or put a fancy box on it...not buying it.

You don't even know what those figures will be, and is being smug over your own guesses. Let someone find them before your usual bashing so it can have any bit of truth to it. We're speculating the diferences, not if greedy Activision is being greedy again. That one is obvious enough to require no assumptions.

I absolutely agree with you they are not gonna get my money again for them.

Ok, it's true, a lot of Wave 4 Cores had messy paintjobs.
Does it makes legit to call them "garbage"?

Regarding Activision greedyness I think it's just being a company.
It probably simply wants to give the people who didn't managed to get those Cores before the opportunity to buy them.
Pricing Trap Masters 15€/$.
THAT was greedy.

These will probably bea gimick like eons elites, with better paintjobs and all, Bifrost may be onto something

Looking at those links now it appears they are in stock, is anyone else planning on buying one, if so, report back if they are different or not. However judging by the pictures on each character, it looks just like the regular version, so maybe they aren't any different at all.

Did ask what the differnt was and got the reply that there was none. So it's just regularisering version in a new wave release.
