After the events of Trap Team, Glumshanks has a special power. He can release villains out of traps. First he escapes Kaos, who is now a servant to Glumshanks, along with all the other villains. Eon, also finds a new power. Creating dimensional portals. Eon, goes to the mysterious dimension of Overdrive. Where Glumshanks follows him. Eon finds all new Skylanders with special abilities. Racing Abilities. Glumshanks, along with his army finds a cave with two trapped villains. Eon, together with the Overdrivers, have to stop Glumshanks and his to villain friends. Ripto and Malefor.
