My guess is purple. What is yours?

Either purple, yellow, or pink.

That leaves
Purple: Magic
Brown: Earth
Gray: Undead
Light Blue: Air
Sliver: Light
Black: Dark

If they have one this game, it should be yellow. The primary colors would look good together (blue red yellow) but there was a yellow base in one video at TFB if I recall correctly. I think they might throw a curve ball with that prototype.

I'll go with purple.

Purple or Yellow. We have Green and Orange, but not Purple (the other secondary colour); and Blue and Red, but no Yellow (the other Primary colour).

Yellow for Light and black (or dark purple) for Dark.

Hard to say. I don't think the bases will be colored this time. I know it was just a prototype, but the bottom looked so complete with the model number and all printed on the bottom. And it looks amazing and unique this way. Can't wait to see what the other elements bases look like with this new format. But...if that prototype is the new gimmicklander, I suppose the cores would have the original bases, and need a color, which I would guess Purple. Not many others to choose from. Clear may be a cool option as well...

I seem to remember an intervview before the release of one game(I think it may have been Guha Bala for swap force) in which they said that the base colours had already been chosen, and then listed them in order. Does anyone else know the interview I am referring to?
I seem to remember both purple and yellow being mentioned - my guess is purple.

Purple or yellow

Green is a cool color for the first game
Giants got Orange
Swap Force got Blue
TT got Red.

So it went from cool to warm to cool to warm. So, the next game should have a cool colored base. I'm going to guess they stick to elemental colors and use purple.

Last time just an hour or so before the reveal they posted this teaser:



And it actually gave away the color of the title and the one of the bases.

However I noticed that bases seem to have a precise pattern.
SA: blue title (SWAP Force base), green base (SWAP Force title);
Giants: orange title to match the base;
SWAP Force: green title (SA base), blue base (SA title);
Trap Team: red title to match the base.

According to this list (if it's true) we might actually now the color of the title, if they give us teaser texts which will also give away the color for the bases for Skylanders 6.
And when we'll know the color of SuperCharger bases we'll also know the one for the sixth game's title.

That would make Spyro's color scheme.
A sweet idea.

And I agree, yellow sounds perfect for a racing game.

I also wonder what "special feature" will the title have this time.
SA was normal; "Giants" was written in a "bloated" way to make it look bigger and bulky; SWAP Force had the arrows hinting at swappability among the two words and Trap Team had a crystal to evoke traps.

Maybe SuperChargers will have a racing flag or smoke around it.
Or maybe it wil have the stylized lines often used to represent movement or speed in comics.

You can't really tell the color of the base from that Air SuperCharger image if you are referring to it.

Just the engine and the Air base which was kinda hinted by the prototype.

We can see under the Spitfire prototype, and if it stays that way, the flaming part is indeed the base.
