Edit: I'll get the first one, but I already have 4 Earth Traps and wasn't planning on getting the Sword. On top of that I already have the Kaos trap so no need getting it. On the other hand I'm planning on getting all of the traps in the other pack so that's a buy for sure.

It's just more vaporware to me....I can't even get product from wave 3 or new Nitros without pulling teeth.

Last time I checked vaporware meant a game that was some time in development but never released; nothing to do with things that never had any trouble being made.

Nice molds for the triple packs,though. Would've liked Undead/Fire/Tech more (of course Undead being some other mold like Cobra), but if this ever gets cheap enough might be an easier way to get a lot of new villains to play around with.

I guess there won't be any Triple Trap Packs including Water and Life Traps after all. Oh, well. As for the Kaos Trap within the Triple Packs, it will be sold out within an instant.

I'd buy the tech/magic/fire one... but i have the tech hand.

True--used in software context. Now I'm using it in a hardware context. Bottom line---a bunch of pretty pictures with no stock showing up on shelves and we are now in MID FEBRUARY.

I was only planning on getting one trap from each element, but I really need to get the Kaos Trap!

Please be aware, that the posted Triple Packs are W4 Triple Packs, but the next ones are the W3 Triple Packs. I just changed the ones I have on my page.

it looks like activision are learning if the 4 new triple packs don't have any water or life element traps but 2 of them include a Kaos trap.

These plus the 4 Kaos traps in each trap box in wave 4 will definayely stop people from whining they can't get one. And it won't be worth online Scalpers buying the Kaos triple packs coz they won't make much profit.

I hope they'll switch a lot of the stock of traps to packs like these towards the end of this games waves instead of singles. It just seems more efficient. And would probably prevent us getting into our problem now of only water traps left in stores .

What about the Dark Spider and Light Owl Traps? I'm pretty sure some Portal Masters would wish to own them if they didn't get them yet.

I found this on ebay, I dunno if its real or not, though it look very real, and I presume its a yet-to-be- announced triple pack.

So I guess the strategy was to have the normal traps out there for awhile, then start getting kaos in high circulation but packaged with traps you don't need so you'll pay more. Nice strategy, but I wonder how many costomers already gave up?


I already have the kaos trap and decided not to give a darn about the different traps, just got enough duplicates for each villain.

Why no chompy mage on the traps packaging in Aura's post?

I already have all of the traps that are in circulation so far so unless there's a triple pack with only new wave traps i'm going to stick to singles.

I find it a little odd that the Kaos trap is going to be part of a triple pack though and the Tech traps look way too dark unless it's the lighting.

Well that and we're basically not getting any new stock for 2 MONTHS since the holidays, they've effectively gotten folks onto other games. Not sure if people will remember to come back. Add to that the light/dark expansion frustration and I wouldn't be surprised if they are leaving on purpose now. They REALLY haven't handled the toys availability in a fair way this go round. Bizarre. It almost looks on purpose.

I have heard of long waits, but this is ridiculous.
We'll be lucky if we get Wave 4 in April the way things are going.

Ok, so just like us, in Europe.

So it has been like, a month and a half, almost two, since we all got new characters and traps.
But the US got Wave 2 on D1, along with the first one, while in Europe, it arrived only a month and a half later...

I understand kids can be pressing, since they really want new toys, but I have two young cousins, and they had to understand that there was no new Wave, just like me.

We cannot create new toys, so, we can only have patience.

I think the limited stock pretty much world wide at the moment, will mean we'll start seeing parts of wave 4 turning up pretty soon. Stores near me only seem to be stocking trap masters lately , everything else isn't being restocked so they really need a decent shipment.

Since Italy, at least, is getting Wave 4 next week (maybe even this weekend), I think it will be out around the same period worldwide.

Sure wish we would get another shipment of wave 3 traps here....it was so small in december i never found any but 1(Air Snake)....they where all gone by the time i got to the stores after work. Found that Air Snake at Gamestop in late January. Have seen none since.

For wave 3, the trap masters made a good showing. The cores got less visibility...and the traps...well...they haven't shown up. Must be the water trap glut.

Oh...my bad. But i kinda doubt that will happen.

I don't understand...why would they re-release the undead axe and magic hourglass in a triple pack? Everyone already has those because Activision won't ship anything but Wave 2 stuff for the past 2 months.

Do we know when this was posted ? I can't see a date on the site .

I still think they limited them on purpose though to keep people visiting stores and maybe picking up an extra character or 2 instead. There's no way they could think it wouldn't be the most wanted trap.

I was on the support site reporting a broken figure at the beginning of february this month and it wasn't there so its safe to say it must be pretty recent.
