Also, to those who say that these packs suck: They're still selling. There's still a large amount of people who want to buy every single pack, and I can see how someone would get this pack just to have Pet-Vac. Heck, I'll be buying it whenever it shows up.

Yeah there(Gill an Runt, Fryno an Fry)still warming the shelves in my Wal-Mart's. When they first came out i got the Gill buddy pack....didn't know about the Mimi-Packs....now i have 2 Gill Runts...guess i could custom paint one. But i will not buy anymore buddy-packs. I want the new mini's, so i will wait till the Pet-Vac an Breeze, Barkley an Whisper Elf Mini-pack's come out.

There is one Fryno/Small Fry buddy pack over here . Its very attractive since they never released S1 Fryno here and so far no Fire Minipack . The price they want for it is a bit steep .


I am surprised that there is only 3 buddy packs .

The only reason I got the Gill Grunt and and Runt pack was because I already had a Thumpling. Sadly I'm going to end up with 2 extra mini-jinis since I can't find a reasonable price for just Spry.

Have learned my lesson hopefully, will not get these buddy packs as I have extra Hog Wild Frynos and Small Fry to last a zombie war. Will wait for the mini 2 pack with Breeze.

Note that's the European package (funky peg hook, called a "Duo" pack instead of a "Buddy" pack).

The Walmart-Exclusive Buddy Packs were only Walmart Exclusive in the US. In Europe, I don't believe they were exclusive at all.

They can be exclusives, but that depends on the country. There are dozens if not hundreds of different retailers in Europe.

That's how they're getting away with selling these things. It's a marketing gimmick to get people to buy them by releasing one of them in a buddy pack before it's released in a mini pack. They did the same thing with Small Fry. For most of us, we don't fall for it because we know that there will be a mini pack with Pet Vac and Breeze, but they hope to sell them to the parent or kid out there that doesn't realize that. It also tricks them into buying a repose that no one wants.

There are only 3 buddy packs because that's how many reposes for Trap Team has a mini as well. None of the other minis have a Trap Team repose to package with it. It would be nice to release some of them individually, since many of us already have some of the minis (i.e. Spry, when many of us already have Ninjini or Bash, when many of us have Terrabite...not counting that they released the 3DS version with Barkley, so if you want Whisper Elf, you'll end up with an extra Barkley, if you have 3DS).
