I was just curious to know if anyone can find any Traps and in the wild, because my local stores stink and never have anything?

It's an impossible trap to find. I hope they decide to unleash the fury into stores soon in enough supply that everyone that wants one can get one. I'd venture to say it's being done on purpose now...but come by Mar/April I expect boxes of the stuff to fill the shelves.

You're best bet is to go to a local gamestop and ask if there are any in stock online. That is how I will be getting my Kaos Trap soon enough.

Believe me or not, I've found 8 of them, and not inside a GameStop.

It's a "little" store, slightly outside the mall zone of my city.

Didn't have almost any Wave 3 Skylander, but the Kaos Trap is what I was looking for.
Had an incredible luck.

The KAOS trap... that thing is crazy hard to find.

i got my kaos trap by luck, my local gamestop never had one and rarely ever had single traps, local toys r us always sold them the instant they came in, but i went to target and asked a guy they if they had any, he checked the back and pulled out 4 of them. i got one, a lady with her 2 kids got one and the other 2 went on the shelves ( i fugured ill let other people get happy finding one vs selling it online for cash.)

really your best bet is so go into places and just ask if they can check, the workers dont mind and when you get one you will be happy you asked.

It's not pointless. No harm in asking an employee if they have any in the back. I've been looking daily at GameStop.com and although no stores near me have them, I've noticed that SOME stores show up every day as having received them in stock. Heck...I found a Scratch at TRU yesterday. It's called hunting for a reason.

I found 2 on the shelves of sainsburys after i got mine at my local tru. My tru kept them out of sight n asked if i had 1. Appatently they done it to stop ebay buyers. I suggest u ask if u can't find 1

An Activision rep told me that Kaos traps are being released in limited numbers in Waves 2.5, 3, and 4. From what I have been able to tell, Wave 2.5 was a very limited promotional run and is now over.

Activision has only recently started shipping Wave 3 (the prior Wave 3 figures in stores were advance promotional shipments), so Kaos traps will be more common in the near future. I have yet to receive a Wave 3 box of traps, so I don't know how many Kaos traps are in each one. However, I will wager it is 1 or 2 per box.

My recommendation would be to find a store that sells a lot of Skylanders, find out when they have shipments coming in, and try to hit the store right around the time the new shipments come in. Any store that is still working though their W1 and W2 stock will not have them until they reorder. Every time a store receives a new shipment of traps between now and Easter, it should have at least one Kaos trap per box.

doesn't surprise me really, dang traps selling for $50+ online, bad karma if you ask me selling them like that. But the employees get asked a lot, all you have to say is "skylanders" and "trap" and they know what your talking about.

I don't think they're doing the fans any favors by limiting supply. They're intentionally creating a scalper market and frustrating portal masters.

Believe me, when I saw those 8 Kaos Trap all in one place, so easy to reach, I hardly resisted the instinct to buy them all and sell them online at 50 or 60$ each... But luckily, I was strong enough to resist the Dark Side.

I found some Kaos traps a while ago, but I passed. Probably should've got one, since I haven't seen any more.

I managed to buy one at a Toys R Us, but I got it for a friend, since they didn't have a Kaos Trap, and I already had the one from the Dark Edition.
