You encountered the Weapon Master glitch. You have to start the game over again.

Also, if you don't do it in 24 hours the weapon master will blow your skylanders up, this is VERY rare though but its NOT possible. Im just joking.

This is the Weapon Master Glitch.

After you reach chapter what 22 or something? idk, one of the ones where you are dealing with the weapon master. Anyway, after each chapter you're asked if you wish to continue to the next chapter or stop and do it again later. YOU MUST CONTINUE TO THE NEXT CHAPTER. If you tell him you'll do it later, he'll go to sleep and never awaken to move on. You'll need to restart your game from the beginning.
