Yep, they officially start Christmas commercials the day after Halloweeen. I've seen a few daring to try it a few days before then. Shame too...I really like Thanksgiving. Totally overshadows the holiday with this stuff.

I saw the Planters Peanuts Christmas commercial before Halloween. One of our local stations was playing their normal music when we got out of the car to go trick or treating. When we got back in the car, they were playing Christmas music. It was as if they set it up to start as soon as the official trick or treat time was over.

aggh. once i loved thanksgiving, 5 years ago. something stupid happened, now, it's my least favourite ;(

51 days and a wake up where I live! (at this time of writing) I'm also part German, so we also get some presents on Dec. 6th, so I might get some skylanders then to. So.. nope, not at all to early.

It was just showing Tree Rex with other Kids toys.

Stores are greedy and need your money faster. I think they also assume if they dont tell us that we will forget xmas.

I love thanksgiving also, I do wish they would hold off till that week and have black friday be the kick off date...u know like when santa comes at the end of the thanksgiving day parade smilie

Idk why ppl need so long to shop. Ppl will buy their gifts when they have the money and then the time. You could wait till the week before and be fine on MOST items (depending on what your after/whats crazy this year)


Is there any in-toy that will be like THE HOT toy of the season (like tickle me elmo was years and years ago)?
