I purchased the 2014 event special edition life trap and can't seem to access the captured baddy inside? Any ideas or anyone else have this problem? And if answer is already posted I apologize.

It's been posted before, but based on other threads, not all traps came with the villain inside. If yours didn't come with him inside, you just need to defeat and capture a regular Shield Shredder and he will appear in the trap as Riot Shield Shredder. Hope this helps!

It said he is captured inside, this was the reason I paid so much!

Some were, some weren't. However, that trap is currently the only way to get that particular villain skin. If he didn't ship already inside of the trap, you can capture the standard version and have the variant. Not having the villain already inside of the trap might not be convenient, but it's currently the only way you're able to get that skin at all.

Out of interest, would you mind saying how much "so much!" you paid for the trap I got free with my pre-order?

On ebay for $60... It has special event logo and not for resale on back!

The Pre-order bonus one says not for resale on the back too, but the only other thing is on the front at the very top where the overpeg-hanger part is it's red with a picture of the trapped bad guy and some text starting,
"Riot shield shredder" villain preloaded.

I assume the "logo" you are talking about actually has "2014" and something to the effect of "special event" ?

So seems it is different at least, but only a tiny bit from packaging. I couldn't get mine to work through the packaging so did you open yours?

Did the EU one come with the EU-style peg hook?

I'm in the same boat. I don't much care about the package it comes in, I just want to have the character available to play with. I might go as high as $20-30, but I'm not going past that, especially since they just gave away as many in the EU as people who preordered the game.

Agreed with Darkchylde (Doug)and UucleBob....i want one also. Not paying a butt load for something that was given away....and if it was for sale, it would be the same price that Outlaw Brawl & Chain is at Target...$5.99.

same, hell, i went to target today, and there were, so damn many outlaws. how much? think about..... a mattel factory in china.
i managed to snatch one, but, mine was already pre-loaded in the trap.

Mine did not show any villain inside as well, then I captured Shield Shredder and once he was inside, when I put the trap back into the portal again, it showed Riot Shield Shredded and then after the completed quest, Evolved Riot Shield Shredded (or Riot Evolved Shield Shredder, can't remember the word order).

As long as your package was not a re-pack, this should be the same for you.
