I didn't buy swap force. Wasn't interested. I do want Jade Fire Cracken and Rattle Shake. Are there any other toys I really need? I wasn't really interested in any of the new characters... but are there any worth buying - skills or bonuses or powers wise?

I'd go with Doom Stone, Spy Rise, Night Shift, Magna Charge, and Free Ranger. They're arguably the most powerful of all the SWAP characters.

Doom Stone has impenetrable defense with his shield.

Spy Rise can dodge basically every single attack in the game (from the attack on his bottom half), PLUS the fact that he can instantly defeat an enemy that has less than 1/2 of their HP left. His normal attacks are also insanely powerful.

Night Shift basically grants you 1-2 extra lives (from the bottom half), and his top half can easily recover HP.

Magna Charge can grab virtually any small-medium sized enemy and throw them anywhere (off of an edge, into hazards, etc.).

Free Ranger has some pretty powerful melee attacks, and can also pick up enemies (albeit they can't be manually thrown, they get blown around Free Ranger.).

Freeze Blade can be used pretty effectively when in a jam, you can freeze enemies and quickly maneuver through a swarm.

Maybe throw in Stink Bomb, he can sneak around without being attacked by enemies, and he has fast long range and powerful short range.

You used 'toys' and 'needed' in the same sentence. So the answer is obviously no.

I believe that , , and are worth getting. They are all very strong and very useful for taking out enemies.

What about the new core landers? Not just the swapable ones. They are so expensive, but I am hoping they will go on sale once TT is out.

If you never bought Swap Force, then there are no swapping characters that you would actually need. Requirements for which swappers you had to get were only for swap zones. So the answer would be that you don't need any for TT.

My fav's are Spy Rise first an foremost...then Doom Stone. Like Matt said, he has super defenses with his shield, but Spy Rise is just badd a$$ super mighty....that "Super Spy Scanner" attack is just the bomb...it hits like a truck. It takes out most enemys with just 1 or 2 hits.

As for the cores....hmmm...Pop Thorn is not to be underestimated. He is one of the few that can move all over the place an keep attacking...just keep pushing the main attack botton as you run from the enemys an the thorns will target them.

Oh that is easy I can answer that question. My choices would be , , , , and most definitely . Those are the best in my opinion and you might like them too.
