23:00 October 4th: Go down to TRU (Bring 3DS and play Smash Bros while waiting for midnight)
24:00 October 4th: Pick up 7 traps (Kaos and the rest of the trap elements I will need, undead being a must find)

Then I will go to sleep till around 7:30 in the morning and then head to Target

At Target I need to pick up the last figure I pick up day 1(Nitro Krypt King or Regular Krypt King)

Finally I go home and play the game

We already have like three "Wave 1 Plan" threads, go add this to one of those...

22:00/23:00: go to bed
7:00: wake up and go to school
12:35: picking up: Krypt King, Mirror of Mistery, Torch, undead mini pack, magic mini pack, both trap triple packs, Head Rush
13:00-23:00: staring at them
next day: getting regular starter pack + Gearshift and finally playing the game

23:00: Go to sleep and anxiously await the morning.
0:00: Wake up and realize it's still not morning yet.
9:00 Wake up, get ready
10:00: Finally go pick up Nitro Krypt King, Wallop, Wii U Dark Starter, Chopper, Nightmare Express, and the trap 3 packs at Target.
10:45: Drive to TRU and pick up the exclusive trap box.
11:30: STARE AT MY ACCOMPLISHMENT.

My Dad's taking me to ToysRUs at midnight. (Good thing it's on a Saturday night otherwise there's no way he'd let me go.) I'll get the Wii Starter Pack and everything else I can convince him to buy. TRU is almost an hour away so I'll probably fall asleep in the car on the way home and be too grumpy to try to play when I wake up to go inside. So I'll go back to sleep then wake up and play all day Sunday! Seriously. Can't. Wait!

1. Resist coming to this forum because rampant spoilers.
2. Hunt everywhere that sells internationally for the traps I need(and hopefully those early Wave 2 sightings to get an Earth Hourglass if possible) and a Nightmare Express that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to import.
3. Hoping the Mask of Power book I imported gets here if it hasn't already
4.Draw ALL the fanart but avoid posting because most likely someone is going to reply with a spoiler.
5. Rage at my country only stocking the year's Skylander game 3 months after the rest of the world.

1. Go to first Sunday church and try to get out as early as possible
2. Go to one of my TRU and buy the Starter Pack, Skylanders I like and get as many traps as possible
3. Head straight home
4. Play the game in a blind playthrough

1. Go to walmart to drop my mom off at work
2. Do the "Meet the minis" event they have
3. skylander hunting

Midnight release.
Open in car.
Stare at in car.
Play untill 2:30 am.
Bed.
Wake up at 6:30.

1. Sort my money so I have enough to get the stuff I want that my sister and parents won't/can't get.
2. Wait until everybody that is coming with me to be ready and awake (Sisters and parents).
3. Go to TRU and get a ton of characters and traps.
4. Go to Gamestop and get the dark starter (PS4) I have pre-ordered and Gearshift and maybe more stuff.

2.Go to Target and buy the Wii starter pack
3.Buy Kaos and the Earth Trap or a trap triple pack.
4. Buy a Skylanders with the target gift card or wait for the mirror of mystery.

1. Midnight check to see if Walmart will have the dark starter available. If they do purchase it and nightmare express...if not then go back home.
2. Get up at 7:30am and head over to TRU and buy everything.
3. Go home and play til 10am
4. Go to Best Buy at 10am and pick up my pre-ordered tablet starter pack. And buy whatever I couldn't get at TRU (if anything)
5. Go home and play all day long!!

-Gonna be at work, pick up Krypt King and the adventure packs that I can.
-Wait patiently for Target to send the Dark Starter Set.
-Hit up eBay, sell off Dark Starter figures to get back later at a much more reasonable price once these go on clearance.

I know, exciting stuff right?

No midnight release anywhere near me.
i'll be walking over to my local shopping centre about 8:30 and getting the figures and traps from K-mart and Target, then when EBgames opens at 9am, picking up my dark starter and heading home again.

i'll then be checking the questions on the forum here, to see if there is anything unanswered yet that i can help out with ready for the US release.

Depends if TRU has a B2G1 figure sale or not, I'll pick up the Legendaries. Otherwise, I wait for 45 days until all starters drop to $35 at most stores lie they did last year. I should finish Swap Force one of these days

6.Read a little bit, trying to find out if normal elemental gates are actually back or not

Wake up and get all my Skylanders gear ready at 7:30. Make a video for YouTube. Dress formally for church with Skylanders gear in the car. Go to Sunday School from 9:45-10:15. Church from 10:30 to 11:30, change into Skylanders gear. Get in the car drive to Gamestop. 12:00 hope what I want us still there and buy it. 12:15 eat at Zaxbys. 12:45 go home and make a finish my video I was making earlier. 1:00 start playing. 4:45 go to my Church's youth meeting. 6:15 get home and play some more.

I'm going to toys r us at midnight. Getting Wallop and Gusto, as well as 5 of my 9 traps. Then whenever I wake up from playing a few levels that night go to gnestop to get the adventure pack, as well as Wildfire and Gear Shift.

11:00 PM - 8:00 AM: I do what I want!
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Go to Mass
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM: I do what I want... while buying at least the starter pack.
11:00 AM - ?: I do what I want!

Wonder if my tru is having a midnight event lol

11:00am: Stack everything nicely in front of me on my desk and drool over it while I study for the next 2 days...
5:30pm on the 7th: Come home exhausted from midterm exams and rip open TT as fast as I can! (and probably fall asleep on floor surrounded by TT and nap while attempting to play!)

October 10th-Wait for everything to arrive.

Big W for Legendary figures.
Target for the Minis.
Possibly K mart if the other shops won't price match if kmart has the figures/traps on sale.
Then EB games for the Dark edition starter.

Then go to EB Games and buy everything that's there, except variants.

Ugh... why does the US release date have to be on a Sunday?

So the mass amount of kids can flood the stores for a midnight release without the concern for school?

I mean, on a Sunday when most of us need to go to church. The first thing I want to do when I wake up on that particular Sunday is go straight to TRU.

I wish it was on a Saturday >.>

EDIT: I will be looking at more gameplay before I buy it because something inside tells me not to buy it. Also yes I know people will probably like how can he not buy this?! He was the biggest Short Cut fanboy EVER! XD I'll admit that so I'm just going to wait and see if the game looks really fun.

using the ebgames prices as reference, prices don't seem to have been changed from swap force, and the mini's i'm estimating will be about $15 at k-mart/target/big w, the price being between a core and a trap master.

Well one could argue most people should or need to go to church. However around my area most people would probably politely snicker if you mentioned such a concept for Sunday. However I feel religious discussion is probably best for somewhere else. Still say the weekend release allows for more kids to harass their parents on release day.

My Guess for Aussie Sale prices would probably be $16 for Trap Masters, $17 for minis as they are Target exclusive in AUS, Cores $12 Triples/Adventure packs $24, Trap Triples $16, Trap singles $9.

On th Sunday thing, all previous Skylanders gmes have been released on a Sunday in the US, and I have a feeling this trend will continue as more games are released.

It won't be that bad (some parent's may just say "You can wait till the morning") but the kids that do come will be tired and annoying. At least some older fans may also be at the store to talk to

I'm going to the midnight and I'm 22. My girlfriend will be there too so luckily I won't just be standing there alone in the cold haha. Only reason I'm going to the midnight though is to make sure I get a Kaos trap.

Midnight at Walmart for Jawbreaker, Chopper, Funny Bone, Torch, the 4 Minis packs, the Tech/Magic/Earth trap pack, the Undead Orb, and the Fire Torch.

TRU when it opens for the Legendary Trap, Legendary Jawbreaker, 1 Gearshift, and the Legendary Nightmare Express pack.

Target for the Starter Pack and free OB&C trap.

1 Gearshift preordered from Amazon, so whenever that gets delivered.

3 Dark Starter Packs (Wii U, PS4 and 360) preordered from Target.com, so whenever those get delivered. One's for me and the others are gifts.

2 Nitro Krypt Kings also preordered from Target.com, so whenever they get delivered.

So that's my Day 1 plan. Whether I go to a midnight Walmart or TRU will depend on location and convenience. I'm going to a concert that Saturday night before, so it'll have to be conveniently on the route from the show to home.

Wake up and go to Target, get the stuff I need... Go home, have something to eat, go to work. Wait the rest of the day. Go to work on Monday and actually be able to play when my Dark Starter arrives from Amazon

1130: Take the boys to TRU
1200: Get as much as they have for Wave 1, and Dark Starter Pack PS4
1230: Return Home unpack Set it all up
100: Go to bed as i listen to them argue over who plays what
115: Realize its 115, and they should be distracted enough to see if mama is in the mood
116: Return to Living room and play with the boys, cause mama is a sleeping bear not to be woken at 115
then in the morning go to target and walmart to clean up the rest that i missed.

Find out that it's out and consider it. Probably not buying it right away or telling my parent's I want it for Chirstmas right away.... Consider it more... Read online reviews and stuff.... Consider it more. Look at pictures of Skylanders, consider, consider, think about it... Sleep on it. Wait about a week and then fully decide. Kinda what I did with Swap Force. Considered and then said I would like it.... But with more considering then usual... And more reasearch.... And more thought... Totally not what I did with Giants and Spyro's Adventure. "MOM THEIR MAKING A NEW SPYRO AND IT'S TWO PLAYER! ME AND SISTER CAN PLAY TOGETHER! WANNA SEE THE COMMERCIAL?!" "DAD DAD! COME WATCH THE COMMERCIAL FOR A NEW SPYRO ME AND (insert sister's name here) FOUND!" Not gonna happen this year. Skylanders Spyro's Adventure had the best commercials... *romantic sigh* What?

8.00am - go to work
4.00pm - come home and hope my copy of the game has been delivered
4.30pm-ish - go to the shop and buy some of the figures
5.30pm-ish - have dinner
6.00pm-ish - play the game

22:00 go to bed
24:00 wake up and think of what a awesome day it will be.
7:00 wake up and play swap force for the last time. Then probably go to Walmart or wait till target opens
Finally when I get to one of those stores get the wii starter pack and get the 2 triple trap packs. If I go to target I will get nitro kypt king and go home to play TRAP TEAM!!

Night before- Ask father to pick m up right after Church

1- Go to Church
3. Pray that I can get a Kaos Trap
2. Go to Walmart
3. Get Wii or Tablet starter pack, trap triple packs, and Trap Masters
4. Play!!!

Next Morning- Go to School
