i am a stage 4 cancer patient and with chemo and radiation going on its hard to do anything with my 4 and 10 year old. this lets me have fun and spend time with them. so i dont look at the cost as the memories and time spent with them is priceless to me at this point.

I would rather not think about it... If I think about that too much I won't let myself get Trap Team... I usually don't try to complete my collection until the game has been out for 10 months or so, that way I can get better deals, usually.

considering i strictly buy on sale or in bulk, probably only around 400 dollars even though I have a pretty hefty collection for that amount.

Yeah, I actually track Skylanders purchases in my financial software, and the number astonishes me. I don't regret it though - everyone has things they like to spend money on, and I am ok with this being one of mine.

A TON....but as someone mentioned earlier.....it's something my son and I look forward to and love to play. Going hunting is one of his favorite things to do and look forward to. The money doesnt matter to me. Its his smile and elation at finding something to which we both can thoroughly enjoy. I play alot of Diablo and NHL, he loves Minecraft and Ryman.....but put us both on skylanders and its a fun time for the both of us. You cant put a dollar amount on bonding.
