You know, you play as Spyro, but then you go into a specially marked water hole with a whole bunch of big cobblestones surrounding it. You don't die. Instead, the screen's blue, with some coral and seaweed everywhere, some pufferfish, fish-men kinda things, etc.

That would've been cool. The game's box is misleading because it says that he can swim even though he can't. I was disappointed when I found out he can't.

I read an interview with the developers about that. Apparently they had over 500 frames (!) of Spyro swimming, but removed it since they didn't feel that it contributed to the gameplay.

Still would have been nice though.
