From what little i know it is also used as a magic damage spell if you put it on the portal while you are adventuring .

Yeah it pours hot lava on people. More funny than useful. I think all of the magic items are more for fun. The fiery forge battle arena is awesome though. My daughter likes to sucler me in to falling off the map. It is also a lightcore device if you are into that.

Its so unfair.... crossbow gets survival arenas that you can do alone or with two... firy forge gets a stupid arena where you need a friend for -.- not everyone has friends that play skylanders.... i think this is a stupid move of activision
