Drill Sargent Path? [CLOSED]

Ok, Well, I've had Drill Sargent For a LONG time now, and i thought he looked cool in swap force, but he gets a little boring after a while of killing greebles with THE SAME attacks a lot.(but that soul gem sheild armor looks annoying to me because then i dont get to see much of him) and i RESET him. So, which path should I take, and, should I buy his soul gem? Why or Why not??????? :3

Is your Drill Sergeant a Series 1 or a Series 2? Also you miss out on +40 Armor if you don't use his Soul Gem, Arkeyan Armor.
