I just wanted to say "hi" and tell how my skylander addiction came to be. lol I've been lurking for awhile now, (towards the end of Giants), but thought I'd finally join.
I've always love the Spyro games. When SSA was announced, I was excited, because I thought it was a Spyro focused game. When I found out it wasn't, I decided not to get it.
Fast forward to the release of Giants. My brother and then three year old nephew tried out the game at TRU, and my nephew loved it. I went over to my brother's house to visit, and they were playing it and I got a chance to try it out. I was hooked! My brother and I both wanted to "catch up". He was much farther than I was. It took a while, but I finally got all of SSA and Giants right when Swap Force was announced and you could pre-order, which of course I did (Dark Version on Wii U and regular version for 3DS).
Swap Force is the first Skylander game where I've gotten to get the figures as they come out, rather than being behind. I really like TRU's buy 1 get one (whatever % off), since I've been buying figures for me and my nephew. It's been so much fun playing with him.
I'm really excited about Trap Team and I hope the execution of the game goes well.
I hope to be a semi-regular presence here (provided life doesn't get in the way) and I look forward to getting to know everybody!
