How do you mean? As in money? Do you have the Sky Daimond? If you have that you can user Bucklers bottom attacks to get some good cash. Grilla's punshes(If you keep em pressed in) give good cash too and it's realy good if you want to upgrade your swapers bottoms halves realy fast. Drobot is good for overall money. You could also try the randow bridge... I believe it's there from 3 PM to 6OM.
If this isn't what you mean I'm sorry. |

I don't WANT to quickly upgrade them.
I replay the game with them, starting at the start and build them up as I progress. I could easily max every figure instantly if I wanted but that is no fun. It's the playing that is enjoyable, if not, why are you collecting them? |

The Sky Diamond is in the Tower of Time Adventure Pack. And the Rainbow Bridge is in ALL of the systems. The bridge only appears between 3PM and 6PM. Also to level your Skylanders up quick ...play the game ...lol...just kidding You can do the Quest achievement True Gladiator PvP, by the time both figures get there 10 KO's each you will have somewhere around 20k in gold and be at level 9 or 10(thats starting the PvP Quest at level 1). |

I used Level #9, Stonetown because it was really short and after the boss you got a ton of experience and ca$h.

I know in Giants I did the Copter level quite a bit for money. Worked out pretty well if you hit the multipliers.

I used the last lever way too often. It gave around the 4800 gold and it was realy cheap doing on Easy mode. The experience you recieved worked well too! I always played the boss fight and always didn't take out Kaos ona cartain moment but just made him spawn his minions for extra XP and a little extra cash. |

Back in SSA (for Wii, I think, the amounts of the coins varied between versions) I used to grind in the first Tech gate in what I think was the second level.
In Giants I used to play Bringing Order to Kaos over and over again, reloading it right before the boss fight. Nowadays I just use the Sky Diamond item in Woodburrow, returning to the title and reloading the game when it ran out.

I played with a fresh out of the bubble Flameslinger and got him to level 10 with 90 percent of his skills using two end levels in little over an hour . Its not much fun .

FIRST - I recommend playing through the game completely first without doing this and leveling up your characters the good'ol fashion way.
that being said... this is how you do the sky diamond trick. ( use what ever characters you want I just find this fastest ) 1. have two controllers handy and make one of them trigger happy ( best if you have his mini gun turret with unlimited full ammo ) 2. go to the training dummies in Woodburrow and with trigger happy stand a ways back 3. put your other character that you want to upgrade on and stand them next to that dummie your going to shoot. 4. put the sky diamond on and then start shooting the dummie your skylander is next to, you should start to see your money sky rocket. 5. rinse and repeat. fastest I think can be done is to go back to the main menu and reload game. hope that helps. some people will argue its cheating but who care's, its your game and you do what you want with them. I personally love the game but am not going to play the game 100+ times to level up every character ( especially the ones I don't like )

@ckasper I actually prefer to use Pop Thorn, he can hit dummies at the same time

@ckasper Huh, I'd never thought to use a character with a much faster firing rate than the one I intend to level. Well, I just got a new controller, so I'll use that method from now on, thanks!

so with the sky diamond the dummies drop mini diamonds too thats cool i thought it only worked with actual enemies. instead of exiting to the main menu you can go to an arena or level and just quit to reset it too.

Chompy Challenge is good for gold. If you do it efficiently with a good score you get a minimum of 1k gold, and that just increases as you level. I actually got 10k gold in one run when I was using a Level 20 character.
The Bonus Missions, in general, are good for Gold. A nice alternate option if you want to upgrade characters without a boring exploit, but just want to do it quickly, or want to do it in levels other than the main ones.

Out of all 3 Skylander games that are out, I notice i can level up my characters a lot quicker on Swap Force on one mission, instead of using Spyro Adventures/Giants, which would take 2-3 missions to get to the same level i did in Swap Force.

For levels (as opposed to money/gold), I alternate between the "Boarding Party" and "Icicle Bombing" solo survival arenas playing on Hard or Nightmare mode.
For money/gold, two players with one being Pop Thorn and using the Sky Diamond then wailing on the training dummies is the way to go IMO. Positioning Pop Thorn right next to one training dummy where he is lined up to hit 2 dummies, and positioning the other figure next to the 2nd dummy being hit by Pop Thorn's "breath" gets the money/gold meter spinning so fast it can't keep up with how much you're collecting. |

Personally, I like to use the 3DS version to level up new characters in a hurry, and if you put em on the 3DS game at level 1, level them up to 15 in console AND 3DS version independantly, when you update them via the portal in the hub, the combined exp is enough to get em to 20.
Sadly this is reliant on owning said title.
