How do you guys keep your collection data and what data do you keep.

Level 1=Doesn't not write anything down and sees by the toys.
Level 2=Writes down what Skylanders they have and their paths.
Level 3=Writes down the Skylanders, their paths and the dates they got them.
Level 4=Writes down the Skylanders, their paths, the dates they got them and their level.
Level 5=Writes down the Skylanders, their paths, the dates they got them, their level and any other info (Quests, Heroic Challenges etc)

Okay, guys just ignore the levels from now on.

Level 1 all the way for me! lol! I can keep track of which ones I have, I can remember a good number of the skylanders that are level 20. The rest of that stuff, I look at it when I put the character on. When I did stuff like heroics and quests, I did it by element to keep track.

Level 6 - complete data dump of every figure

Level 2, I'm not SOOO observative of what I do with characters

Level 1.5, I have a list of the Skylanders I own but not the path they have.

Level 1.5, I have several lists I asses over put don't touch paths.

Level 5, but I don't bother with the dates.

Level 0.....I'm so disorganised

I don't write anything down short of the 'collection app'. I take that back, when I was a reseller I had my collection documented. At this point though, I just 'know what I have and what paths they are. I'll do simple stuff to make remembering easier - like with Night shift, the Legendary version got the Golden Glove path, because he's golden already *shrug* while the standard Night Shift is my vampire.

Level 7, wrote a database to track everything about every figure and keeps a spreadsheet listing when and where they were bought along with cost.

Level 1...I have them all...don't need to document much. My son even remembers which figures are on which paths.

We do have a methodology on upgrading by element, which is how we store our figures now. As we upgrade we also target our favorite hat in the current game...that helps us visually tell us when we're "done" doing anything we need to do to a character.

Level 1. I keep all mine level 20 and fully upgraded. I don't document anything, just have a basic understanding as to how every character works and go with it that way.

Your list is rather inadequate as the date one should only be at a level 5 or higher after heroics, level, and quests.

Going by your list, I would be about a 1.5 as I have a Excel file that has a list of who I have. I don't do upgrade paths as I mostly just have 1 of each and use other methods to remember for the ones I have multiples of.

Okay, I guys just ignore the levels from now on.

With infinite money, why bother tracking cost, no reason to remember dates, and I have so many figures that 'level' is unimportant, if someone dies, throw another on there. Nightmare all day.

Gold (Wether they're at 65535, otherwise, this has nothing. It's always the last thing I do, so if this is ticked I can easily see that the Skylander's been maxed out.)

Date and Costs (if that means how much I spent IRL?) are both pointless to me, they'd be interesting to keep track of, but I'm keeping track of enough and don't want to add them to the list. I just don't find keeping track of stats important at all. Don't care about them whatsoever.

I don't keep track of the Universe Hero Level, I erased it from everyone after Universe closed down. Thankfully, when that happened, I didn't have too many maxed out Skylanders. I'd love to complete it on everyone just so that when I played SA I didn't have to see Level 0 on that spot, but it's pointless (never gave any kind of boost, but still...) and impossible to max out on anything new now.

I have two sets, each set for one path. I keep track of each set separately. I just keep track of this stuff so I can tell who's maxed out.

Level 1 boys are sooo dreamy .....
