Well, here's my little situation: I've been looking at for a little while, but the thing is, he's TRU-exclusive, I like buying my Skylanders at the store instead of online, and the nearest TRU store is 31 minutes away, which might make a little bit of a problem. Now, you might be asking "why don't you just buy online to save you some time?" Here's the thing: I like going to the store better than buying online, because at the store, I could pick out the with the best paintjob, so I don't have to risk getting a sucky paint error (like say, a gold streak on one of 's eyes) if I were to buy online, as I remember seeing a S2 with a misaligned pupil in one of his eyes at a Walmart, but that's not the point. My mom said she could go there when I start buying some Skylanders. I'm considering starting to buy all the Skylanders i'd want after school's out, as I did that last year, but I hope things could all work out, considering that I usually go to TN for about five weeks during the summer. I'm kinda hoping that TRU decides to put a store that's less than 31 minutes away from me, so I'd have an easier time getting that that I've been wanting for a little while. Or perhaps I can start buying all the Skylanders i'd want earlier than the summer, if I could get that to work somehow. I'm kinda upset that my nearest TRU store is 31 minutes away, but it's probably a minor problem, as my mom said we could go there when the time came. Couldn't one email TRU to try to tell them to put a store a little closer to where one lives?

Appreciate having a Toys R Us so close. You sound young and may not understand the cost of doing business. Larger stores like Toys R Us and less profit margin do not allow for a profitable business today and the old business model they and others have had does not work.

Always remember the importance of supporting local businesses. They employ people that pay you in return.

My nearest TRU is roughly an hour away from me.

I seriously doubt TRU will be opening any new stores anytime soon, aside from a few pop-up stores around Christmas time. The company is a relic and is struggling to stay afloat.

I can understand "wanting" something. There are many things--stores--etc. That I'd like by me. But you can't be near everything. If having a TRU within a certain distance is important than you'd need to locate a store in the general area and then look for stores within your determined radius.

Well, I'd guess i'd just deal with the nearest TRU being 31 min away from me, as it isn't a major problem, but when I lived in TN there was a TRU store not too far away from my house. In fact, I bought some bionicles at the TN store a year or so before I moved to SC.

The closest Toys R Us store to me is two hours. Sometimes you have to suck it up and just order online.

Mines 4 and a half hours! Beat that.

LOL okay now I feel bad because I live in the middle of 6 TRU's all within a 30min radius.

I have 4 TRUs all within 10 minutes of my house...guess I'm a lucky one lol

TRU was never a hassle to get to for me, Target on the other hand is!
