It is currently 540 AM and I suppose that could have something to do with it, but I've searched the forum and online in general and came up empty...

I am currently recording the Upgrade Path vids with damage numbers (this is why I was such a huge fan of the Training Grounds being added in with the Enchanted Dummies, lol).

I had long ago recorded Boom Jet and went down Sky Writer...With this path, his Mach 2 Soul Gem did two things: +7 Speed and 32 Damage on the beginning dash blast...

Just tonight, I went down Ace Gunner with my 2nd Boom Jet and kind of knew what to expect on the Soul Gem...

That is until it put out 150 Damage on the blast preceding the dash...I figured it was a freak deal and repeated it several times...always 150.

I ended the video and sought input from others etc...I have the XB1 version as well and while the videos rendered/uploaded I investigated there...All damage numbers were the same, including the Mach 2 Soul Gem.

So basically:

Mach 2 via Sky Writer = 32
Mach 2 via Ace Gunner = 150

That is a +/- 118!!

The Soul Gems should be universal in application and there is nothing down Ace Gunner to enhance it, nor anything with Sky Writer to decrease it...

Naturally this lead me to wonder which number was correct and if other versions had the same damage outputs...I figure short of big time Boom Jet fans (like myself) most folks will just have 1 of him given there are no alt-deco figures.

Again, maybe I'm tired and missing something, but that is a HUGE difference.

If it has already been posted, I apologize but it doesn't show up in any searches anywhere...

I have the damage numbers in the spread sheet along with the videos to back them up...Again, it is not Wii U specific since it replicates on the XB1. I will try to see how things play out on the 3DS tomorrow.

Kind of makes Ace Gunner the consensus pick if it is across the board, lol...

Mine also does 150 on the WII U.

I'm wondering if this was an oversight or one of the leads on Boom Jet really hated the concept of Sky Writer, lol...

I know a few ple that will prob shoot me info from their PS versions later today...

I have PS3 as well I'll test it now.

EDIT: Also 150 damage.

Does it on My Wii U as well. I'd an odd difference.

Yep, it seems like an exploit left out by the developers.

Nvm, hes already on that path and yes it does do 150 DMG

This seems more like something that was forgotten to be put into the description of the Upgrade Path. Some other Earth Skylanders have similar instances, but they were not directly linked to damage output of the Skylander.
