Same here. I heard that from a friend too, his father works in the Spyro company and has all the old episodes. One showed Spyro charging a Rhinoc in the butt and knocking him off a cliff. X-D

I agree. This was the 1970's. Spyro didn't even exisit back then!

Sounds rubbish if you ask me.
Spyro came out practically 20 years later after the 1970s...
And even if there was a TV show, I think someone would know or would have mentioned it.

When I was quite young, a so-called friend also mentioned a Spyro TV show which she'd bought. She also claimed that Target sold dragon-eggs.

I think there were Spyro Synths back in the late 70s/80s, but not sure. No, they were not purple, they were big and black...

How do you know if Spyro wasn't created back then? They could have been planning to make the Spyro games after the series was over. I mean, they could of came up with the idea and made the t.v. show and then make the games.

Wait, 1970? Spyro the Dragon was released in 1989. Was Spyro based off of a show?

This Idea of a Spyro T.V. Show seems far fetched.

I looked on TV.com and found something called Spyro Enter the Dragonfly (I know it's a game) but it had nothing to do with it.
