Just think, we could've had this game sooner if Activision didn't send TfB to the CoD mines, honestly, what were they thinking?

Tbh when that happened I lost all hope for ever getting a new game so I'm just glad it exists now.

I really want to speculate on literally anything, but not much to go on until they release more details. They won't confirm the appearance of sheep, let alone returning characters. Given the synopsis mentioning him being stranded away from home and having to make new allies, I kind of doubt we'll be seeing many familiar faces. Regardless, I have high hopes.

I never would think we would ever get another original Spyro game. ;~;

Alternatively, we likely never would've gotten a new Spyro game at all if Toys for Bob hadn't gone independent.

Looking forward to it, hope Sparx there, I don't see him on trailer, Spyro alway around with Sparx. Alos Zoe and Red dress fairy in the game.

I'm guessing it could be the Sorcerer, or at least a villain heavily inspired by him. Maybe they'll roll him and Malefor up into one, even.

In all fairness I personally kind of feel like his music isn't exactly what it used to be. I liked Tiger Train, for example, but it just wasn't the same to me for some reason.

That said, his music was still a really big part of the identity of the original games, so it's definitely disappointing regardless. Certainly not something that ruins the game like I'm sadly seeing a lot of people claim.

that's unfortunate to hear, i was hoping that he'd at least make a guest track for it like he did with tiger train. i hope they at least take some of the critique from reignited's soundtrack and relay that to whoever composes the music for a realm beyond. i don't even necessarily hate reignited's OST and i thought skylanders had some really good music, so we'll have to see what approach they take here.

i would love to have lorne balfe compose for a TFB game again. the first two skylanders games especially have some damn good music, and use motifs in fun ways. i feel like those games always had a nice balance between ambient and intense songs too, and that sort of direction could be a nice middle ground between the OG vs reignited approach to a spyro OST.
