Hello everyone! On January 25th, TealGameMaster will be starting a brand new series on his channel on the development of skylanders! (More specifically SSA)

Each episode will include a different developer from TFB
They will talk about how it’s like in the gaming industry
Lots of unknown bts info.
Reignited trilogy talk here and there.

Most importantly....developers will answer YOUR questions! They will try to get as many questions as they can, but leave some questions for them when this series starts!

It's just not the worst one because Creation Clash exists

I'm not sure how you get Triple Triad for kids and go 'yeah we need everyone to use the same decks or they lose, also now it's yugioh', and VV more than tried to save it with the Superchargers version

I've been watching this series and they said they had plans for a imagintators sequel where you could create four legged creatures like dragons and unicorns and I'm sad we didn't get that

that's exactly what i felt imaginators was missing

Episode 10 is kind of a waste of time for anyone binging it. It's just patting everyone in the back including himself, dodging every type of question, except for a fun note at the end about Kaos being a reference to the show Get Smart and a TFB diorama of Skylands.

It's fun and all to talk about work experiences but this is the Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure interview, not the Working for Activision interview, if I may be kind of blunt.

Man crazy how it’s already been four years.


As for the imaginators sequel bit, I’ve still yet to find that info in the documentary myself. Hopefully someone ends up coming across it so we can hear exactly what was said about that. I’m not sure if I would’ve been excited for a new game reusing the same gimmick. While four legged characters would be great, a gimmick revolving around that wouldn’t excite someone like me.

I don't think TFB had time to actually start, so it wouldn't apply to this commentary. VV's game was cancelled before Imaginators came out, so they still had to put together whatever assets were unused to wring out a final DLC with Ro-Bow and Wild Storm to compensate for the 2-3 cut levels, and only then fully move to Skylanders 8. The QA team was laid off just as that got done as well iirc, Acti was ready to take the franchise out to the back.

Man such a shame how that final year went down. I hope one day we get that VV and TFB game the fans have been wanting.

So, Heartbreaker Buckshot was "too evil-looking" to be released as a Valentine's Alt.

In his Crash 4 playthrough, Teal said he could’ve interviewed Lorne Balfe, but their schedules unfortunately didn’t line up. Sucks.
