Well, I did consider the Doctor Shemp GIF he posted (I even thought it was a comparison between the original and the remake at first), but would that really be such a big deal?

The official accounts of both Spyro and TfB have been providing us similar content for weeks now, I hardly doubt a new level would be any different or warrant that much hype.
Not even if it were a previously unseen boss redesign: they dropped Crush’s clip pretty casually after all.

I’d be more inclined to believe in some kind of event hosted for youtubers and other public personalities to try out a finalized version of the game and perhaps give feedback for potential future updates.
That would be huge... at least for those involved.

Whatever CGE is teasing, he's just confirmed that it isn't a public demo.

Most likely simply another level reveal then, probably played by him like Dazzy suggested.
Nothing to be too excited about in my opinion, now that the game is roughly three weeks from release anyway, but still cool for those who aren’t satisfied with previews.

I do wonder if it could be something more meaty.
Perhaps a bit of a curveball, such as the announcement of some content which wasn’t included in the original version or a future DLC.

He does seem quite excited, so it has to be something big at least to him.
Glad he confirmed that so quickly though, at least we can rule one big option out.

Huh... Weird how they posted this the day after Canadian Guy Eh tweeted a GIF of this very same level.
Guess this could mean the big reveal is not tied to this, after all.

Anyway, hard not to give him a quick look, but I already got an idea from the super blurry card we saw a couple months ago.
I’m sure he’s still cool.

Shemp himself looks great but my GOODNESS does Toys For Bob kill it with these desert-type levels. It looks awesome.

CGE said something was coming 5/6 days from now ... if it's not Shemp, nor the demo, then what could it be?

I theorize either some kind of big reveal for the game, people getting review copies (CrystalBlazier replied to his OG tweet saying that he wasn't "the only one"), or the start of them posting up new trailers + commercials (since release will be less than 3 weeks away at that point). What all of that entails though... I'm not sure.

It’s a little thing, but it seems like they’re keeping up the trend of having dragons call the bosses by name, like Nevin did with Toasty. I think it’s a nice little touch.

I LOVE THE NEW DOCTOR SHEMP DESIGN. I always thought he was such a fun weird little boss, I loved his sunglasses as a kid lol. The only minor complaint I’d make is that I always kinda envisioned him like a weird T-Rex, so it’s kinda too bad they didn’t go in that direction, but that’s just a kid’s personal interpretation of a clump of colorful pixels haha. Overall I love it, he looks AWESOME. Can’t wait to destroy him in-game.

Is it just me, or does Trondo sound like Chris Sabat? If Toys for Bob actually managed to get him to voice characters in this game, I wouldn't know how to react!

So now Gamestop has a playable demo of Spyro Reignited Trilogy, that's good to spread the demo around more, though I still can't play it due to reasons I have already talked about. I think it's best I forget about this demo thing now.

If it were true, and if they simply couldn’t fit all the data inside a single one, I think this would be the best solution.
Assuming this would be a similar situation to Red Dead Redemption 2, you would have one “data” disc (probably containing Gateway to Glimmer and Year of the Dragon) to install prior to the actual “playable” one (containing only Spyro the Dragon) which would then be the only one required to be inside the console to play the title.

I don’t know much, but I guess this would not only solve a mere space problem but also avoid alienating pople with bad Internet connection and even let you re-install the data in case something happened.

It could also very well be one of the most important reasons, if not the most important one, behind the delay of the remake.

Weirdly enough some demo kiosks have the case of Reignited with "INTERNET REQUIRED" symbol on it. And then Canadian Guy Eh says this and I'm just dumbfounded as to where all of this confusion is coming from. I know we'll find out when the game is in our hands what the situation is, but I wish Activision would quit skirting around the issue and give us a definitive answer.

For Switch, this shouldn't be a problem. Cartridges have much more space than discs.

Are you serious? Most games on Switch requires an additional download because it doesn't fit on the cartdrige or if it a game collection like Mega Man Legacy Collection or Bayonetta it has a download code in the case.
No, Blu-Rays have more space than the Switch cartridges.

One character I haven't seen much of yet, is Sgt Byrd.

In the original "Year Of The Dragon," he flew kind of like a balloon.

He was far more effective and "realistic" in "A Hero's Tail."

I have a hunch he'll be a lot more like the first version, in "Reignited."

I'm pretty dubious about anything any Spyrotuber says. Pretty much whatever people are saying about the disc thing is pure speculation and should be taken with a massive grain of salt.

Yeah, I've seen a LOT of misinformation or at the very least... confusion? being spread by youtubers. Lots of clickbaity stuff for views that are confusing people or freaking people out and then lots of earnest speculation that's being taken as... not speculation. I'm honestly not listening to anything anyone says until we get actual confirmation from devs and/or the game comes out because it's all pretty messy secondhand info right now : /

I would wait a week or so; pretty much everyone who has claimed to see a Gamestop demo has also reported that the console crashes upon attempting to play it. Kiosks like this get updated about once a month, so it's possible that most don't even have it yet and that the listing on the demo page is preemptive.

Again, totally unconfirmed rumor but... The same is happening with Red Dead Redemption 2 and I’ve not seen any complaint about it.
You just have to install the data disc once and then it becomes basically useless, since then you have to use only the second one to actually play.

Are people seriously finding ways to whine about this, even if the fact a download is required is not only pretty vague to these days but was also arguably not that big of a deal to begin with?

If you have an internet connection, buiyng this game and getting all of its content is no problem. But it is very not-very-well-welcomed for rational sense to buy a trilogy of games and not have the chance to have physical access to them whenever one wants.

I don't think Activision would want to supply two discs with every copy, it's gonna cost them more money to produce, right?

Has anyone noticed that someone else going by the name of CrystalBlazier has a surprise too? He says our surprise with CGE, what could it be now? Well, what if it's a new feature in these Spyro games, such multiplayer/co op. Just remember in Spyro 3 you control many others characters, which could lead to using them in multi-player co op mode.

Not sure if that will work, but entirely possible in the 3rd game atleast. I am so tired of guessing this surprise too lol.

I guess no one actually truly know as of now, which reminds me of when people were trying to get confimation of these remakes being made by asking these very same shops and got answers mentioning the “Treasure Trilogy” or similar fake names and imprecise infos.

As of now I’d be inclined to believe mostly to what Canadian Guy Eh said, as he’s proven to have rather reliable sources, but even then it doesn’t mean this is true at all.
Three discs sound like too many though, unless the game manages to get bigger than 100gb, which I heavily doubt...

Acti could launch the game with no press release and that's their risk to take. PR is what makes a difference and TFB itself has been doing more of that than their actual account for the game.
Same with Skylanders. Is X going to be in the story? how does Y work? Are you sure this figure will work in the game? "We're not talking about that right now", or even a straight up lie. That's not taking account with the fact they dropped Ring of Heroes into Com2us' hands alone, not even giving a retweet when they post MAJOR UPDATES, or making them stand outside E3.

Definitely a pass from me then, especially for Gnasty’s Loot and the various Elders, even though the curiosity of seeing if they changed the lighting or colors of some of the levels we’ve already seen kinda kills me.

That’s a dumb move, it was probably the most important reason to release a new trailer!
I know you can find it pretty much everywhere, but no trailer nor clip has shown the actual new one so far and it’s pretty ridiculous.

I’m confident they did tweak the lighting, most levels look way to contrasted compared to how soft and natural it looks in Artisans.
I think that’s the aesthetic they are going for.

I know, but these last few weeks feel longer than the previous 6 months.
At least I allowed myself to watch videos and images, back then, and it helped a lot...
