I really like the reignited Sheila, as much as I loved the old one she was indeed a bit bland compared to Sgt. Byrd or Agent 9, and she also doesn’t give me a negative feminine vibe.

Not a fan of how overdesigned the moose is, though.
I love that they arr putting so much passion in every single detail, but sometimes less is truly more: it’s just a one time enemy, I don’t feel like it needs so much character.

The level itself looks gorgeous, though, so overall a very positive first look at it.

OOOH Sheila looks fantastic!! And I love spyro on the skateboard.

But also I hate how teasing that last shot is, just show us the giant chicken!!

Ok, I'm definitely getting the PVC statue instead of the resin one because it looks amazing.

I love Sheila's new design. It's making me excited to see how Sgt. Byrd and Agent 9 will look.

sheila's design is pretty cute, its feminine but tomboyish at the same time

The PVC is beautiful! it's cured all of my ills :_;

There's two things I noticed from the Magma Cone screenshots:
1. The earthshapers have flowers growing out their heads or backs which I thought was kind of adorable.
2. Out of all the footage I've seen of this game so far, I don't remember Spyro's back being that scaly. Has he always looked like that?

Loving everything, though I wish the egg hatching animation was a bit longer.

Also noticed that you can see two identical demos running at the same time with differently colored gems in the HUD.
Seems like we’ll indeed have some control over it as well.

My gosh, these levels look way more vibrant than I expected. These are really good levels to show off. Sheila looks cool too.

Hey, they fixed the skybox! I mean... it still appears to be the old one in the intro cutscene, but near the end you get a glimpse of the updated one! It's orange and purpley

Speaking of changes, is it just my impression or did they make the baskets more similar to the priginal ones?
Not in terms of shape, they still look partially made of clay, but their overall shape looks closer to the PS1 models.
Same goes for their size and the one of the vases, they seem bigger.

I can’t believe how much they are listening to the fans, never seen anything remotely similar in the past.

Hunter looks great, the right mix of dumbness and coolness!
Speaking of Gateway to Glimmer characters, Zoe looked a bit better in Sunny Villa than it did in Idol Springs.

Toys for Bob should see this ASAP. Someone just did this fan art of the new Sheila, and I like the brighter shade of green of her eyes. It should be changed to this shade for the game.

I like that film, despite the crappy reviews it got.

To be honest I don't even mind the hair, I think it's kind of cute and the red fits her better than I thought. Edits that I've seen of a bald Sheila look kind of... off-balanced? She needs something on her head. The only thing that bothers me is how her waist is so thin, her body shape kind of looks like an insect.

I also wish the egg didn't hatch so quickly, i think it was better when it took a little shaking and suspense

One of the reasons supposedly cited for the delay was finishing Spyro 3, and on said list of things needed to finish Spyro 3 was "animations", so I'm betting 95% that super quick egg stuff isn't final.

D'awww!! They really captured the excited cuteness in the exchange between Spyro and Gildas! 8'D

Is it just me or does Sanders' animation look really stiff? I can definitely believe that unfinished animations claim :'D

My thoughts on the new footage:

I’m honestly amazed by what I’ve seen.
This is almost too good to be true.

A couple things I noticed:
- while the Idol Springs’ footage is indeed from a newer build (better sky, lighting and a proper animation for the hula dance), the Powerup Gate is still radically different from the one we’ve seen in other levels and in Cloud Spires and the Orb animation still looks unfinished albeit better.
These could all be good reasons for the delay;
- seems like the other playable characters in Year of the Dragon might not have themed portals in the various levels.
I like how it make their portal seem more natural, but would be fine either way.
- we’ve only seen 3/4 baby dragons and they all look radically different from each other.
I think we may expect the same level of uniqueness we are getting for the Elders.
- I’m sincerely shocked by how close the skating gameplay looks to the original, would have never expected it to seem so faithful.

The “negative” side is that seeing Spyro with his wings spread opened while skating made me wish he kept them that way during the regular gameplay as well, but I lost my hopes by now.
They have more important things to work on.

WOW!! Where do I even begin? I’m avoiding watching the Stone Hill footage because I want to play that level for myself, so I have no opinion on it. With that being said, I’ve watched all the other footage. The skateboard park and Cloud Spires are hands down my favorite pieces of gameplay so far. I got a major nostalgia trip watching the skateboard footage. Cloud Spires looks stunning. I like the moving skybox, I like how the enemies are actually singing, and they absolutely nailed the music. Techo/trance is my favorite genre of music, and I couldn’t help but constantly reply the footage. I’ve definitely had my fill of gameplay, and I think it’s finally time to go dark til November 13th.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Sgt Byrd and Agent 9 before Elora and Bianca
