Considering how much they've seemed to limit game footage and how close the release date is, I kind of doubt we'll see much of anything else from Ripto's Rage, but who knows? I'd like to see something a bit arbitrary, like maybe Metropolis just to get a glimpse of that techy landscape as opposed to all the grassy/watery levels we've seen so far.

I think Sunny Villa would be a nice choice for all the reasons you already stated, but I’m kinda hoping for Seashell Shore just for the chance for them to showcase Bluto’s boss fight, which could be our very first look at a proper boss battle if they won’t show the bosses from Gateway to Glimmer prior to that.

Speaking of which, do you guys think we’ll get some new footage or image this week, considering ComiCon is happening in a few days?
I think they might want to slow down a bit to make whatever they’ll show there even more exciting, but the days leading to E3 have been full of new content so I’m not exactly sure.
Especially since I was absolutely not expecting the second game to be shown before the event.

I think they've paced themselves pretty well so far, and considering that pace I wouldn't wager on seeing too much more of Ripto's Rage until the end of this month, maybe? I'm inclined to think they're saving August for showcasing Year of the Dragon, since the release is in September.

I haven’t been very clear in my original post, so I figured out I could have explained what I meant a bit better anyway.

Quite confident the panel will be posted on the YouTube channel shortly after its end, looks like we are in for something good between Thursday and Friday.

There are some clips we've seen before included, but most are new.

Something I noticed: The Life Statues in this new footage are direct miniature versions of the Crystal Dragons (Green with gold horns), VS the silver ones we saw in the E3 demo.

(I also notice the gem counter also jumps up, rather then incrementally ticking up, so I dunno how old this build must be.)

I definitely feel like this footage is old, especially considering the fact that there are some clips that we got from IGN last month included. Plus there are recent changes that aren't present here, like the gem counter going up by one and certain lighting differences in Stone Hill.

Still though, it's great to see Town Square and Peace Keepers Homeworld! I like what we've heard of the music for both, even if it's a lot more chill than the original.

Everything looks absolutely gorgeous. The concept art of Spyro is probably my favorite part about all of this though. HE'S SUCH A GOOD BOY!!!

I believe they were taken inside the cave with the dragon and the thief. The screenshot is low quality and doesn't show the platforms from this angle though.

Absolutely wasn’t expecting to wake up to this goodness!

Really liking both Town Square and Peace Keepers’ music, but assuming they aren’t the toned down dynamic versions I do find them weaker than the other tracks we’ve heard so far.
The shots of (the gorgeous) Alpine Ridge, Ice Cavern and perhaps even Terrace Village seem to add up to the theory of them coming from a new trailer.

It’s a shame they aren’t keeping us up to date with the content though; Spyro’s tail, the purple haze, the gem counter and even the life’s colors all indicate that this is a quite old build.
I’m personally sure that everything we’ve seen already looks a lot better (even though it’s far from looking bad here, mind it), but I really wish we could see it jus to understand how much it has really ben improved.

They also seem to be potentially hinting at some Year of the Dragon’s content being posted relatively soon, but I’d expect something from Gateway to Glimmer before that happens.

EDIT: a friend of mine pointed out you can get a very quick glimpse of Gosnold, thus making this the first time we’ve seen the Balloonists’ new look.

One day we’ll get a clear picture of those dragons.
One day.

So, first one definitely looks like a Peace Keeper, he even has a sheath tied to him and seems to be wielding some kind of weapon (a gun perhaps?); maybe Maximos, due to his yellow skin, green wings and bulky structure.
The second is most definitely an Artisan judging by the easel he hold in his hand: possibly Delbin or Alvar, if they stick to the original color.
The one next to him seems to have an orb of some kind at the end of his tail, could be Zander from the Magic Crafters (no grey dragons among the Dream Weavers).
Another Artisan, this time a builder: either Nestor or Nils, though I’m definitely more inclined towards the former.
I’d say the following one is a Beast Maker, maybe either Bruno or Zeke which are the only grey ones from that tribe.
Yet another Artisan (painter apron, brush-like scepter and probably even a brush-like tail), most definitely Gildas due to his color.
I think the one prior to Spyro is a Dream Weaver due to his distinct slender body shape, so maybe Apara; perhaps Cosmos if he’s a Magic Crafter.
The one after Spyro seem to wear a wizard-like hat, so he’s probably a Magic Crafter: his green wings and yellow belly make me think of Eldrid.
Finally, the last one after Isaak has a bow of some sort, so he could be a Peace Keeper if they all have some kind of weapon; his body reminds me a lot more of Dream Weavers or even Magic Crafters, but we don’t know their sub-themes for sure: no idea for the colors and it’s not like his other features help much either.

All of that being said, I love how unique and cool each dragon look, TfB outdid themselves with their designs!

His color would match Gunnar’s pretty well, but not as well as with Nestor’s.
In fact, I think they match too perfectly to be just a mere coincidence; TfB probably understood how much people cared about him with all the complaints from all around the Internet.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t another Peace Keeper among them, maybe the one wielding a bow is Asher.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they simply went with the design they considered the coolest ones instead of providing us with a pair from each tribe (gets horrible flashback about how uneven the last Skylanders roster were).

Either Stewart is helping TFB with the soundtrack, or there's going to be an original soundtrack option.

I absolutely agree, especially thinking back at how Tealgamemaster said they were very well aware of the biggest complaint about the games.
I honestly think both things could happen, one doesn’t exclude the other, and I sure hope dynamic music will be able to be toggled off in any case.

Nahhh, he's definitely an Artisan. He has a little sculptor's hammer in his hand. And looking at those pins, it'd be really cool if all the Peace Keepers used different weapons.

Also watched through the CrystalFissure video, Ice Caverns looks absolutely amazing. Terrace Village is too; I honestly wasn't sure what to think of a nearly all-green level at first, but it's been growing on me for sure!

Super excited about the Stewart Copeland pic : OOOO It probably just means he's been advising them on the music remixes but it's still great to see that he's giving them input!

My God he’s terrifying!
A bit scared to know we’ll have to fight him directly in the third game (looks like the scene is taken from the level intro by the way).

A bit disappointed with the monks, was hoping they would have been mor different from the builders in Idol Springs but I can see why they kept the resemblance.
They aren’t exactly identical, after all.

Can’t wait for Colossus’ gameplay by the way, we’ll get to see the spring power-up and hopefully the Professor and the evil spirits too!

I love the new intro cutscene! I feel like it makes the level's situation a little more clear; as a kid, I never got the joke at the end (that the yeti ate the other Colossi instead of the goat they were bringing him).

I also like the little spin Spyro does when he gets the talisman.

I love the Bob Ross monks. I think I prefer their voices over the original because of that.

I think this is the best we've seen of Reignited so far. Everything about Colossus here is fantastic.

Seconding Spyro's cute widdle happy dance when he gets the Talisman. Is great, 10/10. :3

In B4 the Reddit is flooded with people claiming to boycott the game because the insides of the building are now red instead of blue/ The Yeti got crushed because of roaring rather then jumping/The monks don't specifically chant "Why-ai-ai-um"

I stopped reading Spyro’s Reddit entirely.
Some of their “constructive criticism” was starting to poison my hype for this game.

Anyway, GREAT HEAVENS!
Colossus looks flawless (yeah, the inside of the building are a different color but they blend soooo well with the rest of the colors), the orb animation we saw was definitely a placeholder since it looks basically the same as the talisman’s.
Also first time seeing Sparx eating a butterfly and possibky a confirm that Powerup Gates will be level-themed, even if it might just be an updated look since both levels share a similar basic theme.

Spyro’s animation is cute, but CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE PORTAL RISING AND BUILDING ITSELF OH MY GOD I’M ABOUT TO FAINT.
Also gave us a quick look at Summer Forest’s skybox, seems very fitting!
Some silly touches like the hockey bats for the statues will take some time to get used to, but they are fine.
With how mind-boggingly incredible everything else looks they are completely fine.

Off to re-watching the gameplay for about an hour, bye!

I've only actually played this level once, but the music really got me here. I still remember it! And it's sooo good.

If anyone cares, I've seen a few Reddit comments about the chanting being a bit off, but I think in general everyone all over seems to love this one! I don't even remember the original chanting anyway.
