I don't actually use any of them. I know there's the DS one, and I've seen a general Skylanders discord mentioned in some other places with the fandom.

Could be CoD, since the Switch seems to be more supportive of those kinds of games compared to previous consoles - IIRC, games like Skyrim and FIFA (? I think there was some sports game announced) are now appearing on a Nintendo console for the first time.

However, I strongly believe we're getting Sky7 this year, so I reckon it's either referring to that or both.

Kinda of a coincidence that its confirmed Acti is going back to switch a day after what a friend showed me. Starlink? Another TTL game? I thought it was dying out, with Lightseekers being the last. Anyway, I think these are the current "major" TTL games/toys that have been realeased:

1. UB Funkies
2. Skylanders
3. Disney Infinity
4. amiibo
5. Lego Dimensions
6. Lightseekers

And... that's the six ones I remember. Any others? Of course, if Starlink is something I haven't heard of, that'd be seven.

skylanders academy is great but they should've gone to "how to distribute your product properly worldwide" academy

SickBricks? I say that only because I got into that for about a month when they were slashed down deeply in 2016. Last month you could get them at the Dollar Tree. It was pretty fun although was doomed to fail as you could easily take photos off of the internet and scan them into your phone and get the figures and vehicles that way. I got almost the entire lineup that way after buying about $30 in liquidated toys. Sadly they had canceled the line a little halfway tough the toy lineup and some of the cooler looking characters that I would have loved to have as toys were never released as figures.

Also there is Playmation which I've seen dirt cheap now at TRU, but I am not entirely certain what it is. I'm not really into Marvel stuff so I've ignored them.

There was also "Hero Plug And Play" which is DC and right up my alley, but Playmation made them look like crap so I never bothered. The figures were tiny and not very well made vs. Playmation larger sized figures. If they made the DC characters like the Playmation Marvel ones, I would have been so into it.

Man, I kind of miss the days when we'd all hype ourselves up hoping for the next small piece of news on the next wave. Whether it was an Italian Amazon listing, the Toys R Us computers, or a picture from some French guy's German cousin's brother's store stock with one single new Skylander on the shelf, any hint of a new wave basically shook this forum sideways. As bleak as the future looks, I really hope the series makes a comeback eventually, even if it's just for a one-time remaster or something, like Guitar Hero did for a single game before it died off again. Activision likes to do that every now and then, so who knows? It'd be nice to be able to freak out over a new wave of Skylanders again.

Let it be said that Starlink already has a placeholder on Amazon, although it is admittedly for PS4. I'll also add that there were 2 titles that cost $74.99. Not trying to suggest that those placeholders are/are not Skylanders related, just stating facts.

Does it even matter if we talk off-topic anymore? Because for the past few pages there has only been Skylanders memes and news about other games/consoles, and discussing the fall of the series.
