I have finally come to my senses. There is nothing that can help this franchise. Unless Activision decides to get up off their lazy behinds and send out a miracle, . I've spent a long 3 months trying to stay optimistic for this Toys to Life gaming franchise/fanbase, but I've finally snapped. So I will say this one more time;

Oh hello, how are you my fellow friend?

I've become affected by the Despair Event Horizon. All my old optimism for in the US is getting me nowhere. There has been nothing going on within Skylanders. There has been no news except pulling the plug on Battlecast, but am I sad? No, because I never played the app. As I write, or any of the 5 unrleased crystals have yet to release, I still struggle to find voice actors to certain Sensei, I worry myself sick because I own while others may not, Academy season 2 has yet to surface, Nothing on next year, or Heartbreaker , and I ended up snapping this morning while catering to another collection of mine. all while having this fanbase on thought.

This is correct. We're getting an RPG app and I believe a few books

All stages of fandom in less than a year. Meanwhile I've been here before Skylanders was a thing and just today compiled the Eric Rogers interview where he drums up S2 on October a bit more(no dates because NDA, he did say Netflix is almost done with QA though). Chillax man.

Skylanders RPG is still mentioned in articles, but that's more next year.

Now we wait for CMB's timely appearance as he ignores everything on this thread to talk about how his stores have no new figures so Skylanders is literally dead and we should all give up.

At least one more, but Netflix is in a complicated situation right now so it's not just Acti who can make the decisions. If it does well and there's still budget, we might see 4, but that's a question only answered October onwards.

The series isn't dead. Just the games and that might just be for the time being. We still have Academy AND a mobile game on the way.

All I heard about Netflix is that Disney is pulling out so they can make their own streaming app to compete.

Yeah, and a lot of Disney kids' shows might go as well, and iirc Sophia the First is huge. If Dreamworks gets any ideas they might want to push their own original content a lot.

Almost certainly a mobile game. They made it pretty clear they were moving into the mobile space with the franchise.

For some of us the franchise is dead.

I have no interest in the show, I watched the first season, it was okay, but I couldn't be less interested in season 2.

I also don't like tablet or phone games so that doesn't help.

So aside from that, I have nothing to look forward to.

I am happy for all you guys and girls that will be able to enjoy this ongoing format, but for myself, it's kinda done.

I'm kind of gutted, I knew it was coming, we all did, but I have obsessively collected since the first game, and now it feels strange not to have that yearly excitement.

To anyone who is about to say to me "it's just a game", to me it was a release from the stress of work, and no other game has been as much fun and an easy way to unwind. I don't think I will find another game like it and that's what really bums me.

Oh, the main game side is definately not a good situation. I meant more that OP hasn't been around for long in the forum, there's no need to get so desperate and distressed over something Acti has been doing since the start, and there's still news to be had on the other parts of the franchise.
