No that was the OG swap force

The whole GDC presentation looks very interesting, showing what criteria have to be met before their roster is greenlit. It looks as though the "SWAP Force 2" figures had been fully designed and had physical models created, but perhaps the technology of having individual limbs being swapped rather than a top & bottom half didn't work out as planned. I have to say I'm fascinated by the concept artwork but a lot of the presentation was just that - concepts.

But to answer your question of if there was a Swap Force 2, no I don't think so. But I find it peculiar that all that sort of stuff matched SWAP Force and Superchargers' style, yet the presentation came out 3 years after the former and a year after the latter. It could just be that they had nothing else new so they resorted to older content?

I belive the pictures are the same as those in the book, Drawdler, they're the same style as the few Strata pages still floating around, just cut into a PowerPoint.

Rip Tide in specific is shown proeminently in that presentation, with the Bubble Trouble phase and the split into Punk Shock and the final version.

The bird isn't there, but yeah the first two are shown I believe. Yeah, Rip Tide's final design just feels rushed, they didn't even bother with the fun patterns that Bubble Trouble used.

Aw man, I MUCH prefer this version to the final result that became friggin' Dive Clops... Fish in a reverse dive suit, such a rad idea...

Ah thanks for that! I couldn't tell if it was an expansion or an earlier idea, but it looked far more advanced than the original SWAP Force which makes it all the better! I'll have a look into this strata thingy myself!

That's more of a statement or a suggestion than a theory. What evidence do you have for this theory? Who's this person who supposedly died, what's the cause of death? I need to do that level next but I've got three games to complete before I return to Imaginators, so I don't really know what it is you're referring to.

Sorry if I'm being abrupt, I'm all for a good theory, I just want to know what it's based on.

We know that. Kaos made them. He has an entire factory for that. They're weird becaus it's interesting to write.

Not true. They mention when you get back to Flynn's ship after leaving Wilikin Village they're always alive, they just "play dead" because it's a joke for them.

Actually, half true. Though I think this was retconned, the Giants Strategy Guide actually said Kaos brought them to life because they're toys and he's a Portal Master. It's a joke now that the lore is a bit more specific about the "toys" but it was a fun stretch of an idea.

Blaster-Tron is actually not a robot, per say- he's an advanced space-suit created by Chill Bill to survive the future, which was then set as an automatic sentry once Chill Bill was caught. There's not much backing this up other than similarities in their trap team weapons and artwork poses.

Tae Kwon Crow has OCD. This is backed up by connections to the conditions in his backstory. This one is actually the second most likely to be canonical.

Cursed Tiki Temple is an allegory for TFB's current state with activision, and Bob is a self-insert of the studio itself.I did a whole topic on this.

Mysticat is a transitioning f-to-m. Due to skylands' advanced technology/science/magic and ****, the transition is actually nearly complete. His voice still needs some pitch-work, however.

Ghost Roaster's mental state is highly unstable.
