I bought Creation Crystals today at € 0.99, adventure pack at € 4.99, chests at € 0.49 and Senseis at € 5.99.

With so low prices in stores I have few hope for a Skylanders sequel or another release for Skylanders Imaginators...

Since 2 weeks or so GameStop (Germany) sells all Crystals for 2,49 € and Senseis between 5,99 € and 6,99 €, Adventure Packs for 9,99 €.
For me it was fantastic. I used this for having a full collection (only missing some variants) for relatively cheap price.

But stocks are pretty empty now.

Not in the netherlands, €16.99 each. Superchargers are in sale now, €2.99 characters and 4.99 vehicles

That's actually pretty cool. I'm not really a Crash Bandicoot fan, so I can't tell if it was in any previous Crash games.

Tbh, not sure that's an intentional reference, but more of a re-use of assets.

Well, I got LIM today for 30 pounds at GAME. Ro-Bow is great figurewise. I have to wait a few weeks until I get home and play with him.

He imported it instead of waiting for it to hit the US. It's a great idea! I did that to and boy am I glad I did.

Also have to say that at this point, if you live in the USA, if you can comfortably afford it, importing RoBow / Lost Imaginite Mines (LIM) seems like a great idea, just in case. The old adage, better safe than sorry.

Sleep tight sweet prince. Acti never gave you a chance. I think I said this more than once this week, but man, I followed it from the start and saw it crumble when I didn't even have a chance to play it for the first year.

Welp, now I'm more pessimistic for the future of Skylanders. It's possible it could still continue, but... you know.

To be fair, Activision mismanages ALL of the app-based Skylander games, so it's barely even a data point let alone proof of anything related to the future of the series.

It just feels wierd that Battlecast is shutting down... yet Lost Islands isn't.

Battlecast has 3D models and tons of fancy animation. Lost Islands probably runs itself, except when it can't even acess the friends list. But of course that one is the only game that got proper coverage from Activision until it got put into maintenance mode :I

Someone was trying to rip the 3D models in The Models Resource but Dunno if they'll do more than this.

At least they did Spyro! Just need my other favorites.

Supposedly it's not possible for regular people to rip models from the recent games, so Battlecast is the best way to get them. Now, who's gonna use that in gmod, no idea.

Not a Battlecast only thing. We're talking about looking through the game's data to obtain the 3D models they used on it, since mobile games are easier to look through than console. People usually call this ripping.

So like downloading 3d images of Skylanders? Cool. Who can do something fun with that?

Amongst other things, yes. It's why Duke Spike was saying to get them in Gmod, where people can RP, muck around or make movies. I won't go into the territory of whether it's allowed or not, but I'm sure people who do these things are more aware of that than I am!

Last Year I bought lots of battlecast packs because I got one for only 0,10 € but i never reach it to get all cards. Does anyone have all cards?

I want to play lost island but it is not functionable on any mobile phones I have... Does it exist anymore?

Some people do where it's easy to trade packs, but most gave up playing gradually. Not sure about Lost Islands, people said it's somehow still active.

I know this is the wrong spot but there could be some portalmasters here who were interested in Lightseekers but didn't know that they are out now. I went to my Toys R US today and saw this:



I was REALLY tempted to buy my new bae Mari as I wanted her the moment I knew about her but then I noticed this thing was for tablets and phones only. I was hoping it would be for PS4 or something that normal gamers like myself would use. I don't have a tablet and I don't use my phone for gaming.

Anyway, I'm not getting a very good vibe off of this. Wasn't SuperChargers on this medium a total fail and they didn't even bother to do it for Imaginators?

Also it is a bit too late in the Toys To Life market for a new company and it seems rather pricey at $69.99 for one figure, even though it's mega-large. The cards are surely to be Battlecast fail and I'm doubtful weapons are all that interesting as add-ons. I'm wagering on a fast price drop which is when I'd probably get in on this. I'd have to find a cheap tablet to play it on. If it was on a console, I'd be playing it right now instead of yapping about it. LOL

They said they're planning a PC version but it could take a while. It's not a PS4 game anyway, dunno if you saw the gameplay, it's pretty much Runescape single-player. Light on story(less than actual RS, some of the writing and cutscenes are actually pretty abysmal), a lot about sidequests and grinding. They're on open beta for a long time now and the game seems to be doing fine, but it's really apples and oranges to Skylanders.

The card game, unlike Battlecast, is REALLY well made for physical. It's pretty much the opposite as they don't do much on the game, it's a TCG with a lot of balance and tournament play in mind, including play-ready packs, while Battlecast expects you to do anything with 24 cards+booster that most likely won't work for your team of 3 unless you get really lucky.

I downloaded the game, seemed kinda boring and choppy but the figures are damn nice. Gonna have to get Jax when i have money.

At this point I highly recommend importing, just in case.

Also, Lightseekers sounds ok on paper, but they're never really clear on why the toys are so worth it. The game itself seems decent at best, and it sounds like the toys only add a few extra features, so for now I'm gonna stick to amiibo once Skylanders kicks the bucket.

I saw LIM at target just a few days ago and I'm in the us so I wouldn't say it's not out yet. I probably should have bought it but the impulse to buy the figure wasn't really there.
