Now that Skylanders seems done for the most part here's my plan:

*Try everything in my power to get LIM, because it's a whole level and a whole, brand new character. I'm going to the UK in a few days, so I'll try and find it there. If not, guess I will buy it online.

*Buy tons of crystals so I can finish up all my Imaginators ideas. Also buy spare crystals to replace the new molds because I doubt we're getting them at this point.

After that, I'll buy a PS4 with N.Sane Trilogy, and I'm onto new games (ex: Overwatch, The Witcher, Fallout, etc)

It's a joke guys, just making a little fun at how the goalposts keep getting pushed out further and further as Activision continues to not announce Year 2 because it doesn't exist. Satire at the lengths people will go to try and keep the door cracked just a little on the franchise.

There isn't going to be anything at GamesCom or PAX. Just like E3.

Someone I know talked to Activision support yesterday, and the woman there said she would escalate the question about LIM's release date. I think it's company policy to respond within 48 hours according to her so we might have some answers to this soon.

well i personally summarize this E3 skylanders wise as a total humiliating nightmare for us. i liked the new god of war trailier and the new spiderman...

but i never felt so stupid in my life. so long story shot it was a nightmare and i hope it will never happen to me again.

Calm down man, it's just a videogame. It's supposed to be fun and hijinks. If it's causing you stress, it's time to step away and do something else until it's back to fun.

You are right, i just really frustrated about this. Mabey Tommorow i will not log to the site, to clear my head a little bit. But the spiderman part i was serious, this game definitely goes to my list.

I'm interested to hear what they tell you about the LIM release date. I want to import but I'm afraid it could arrive any day now in the states. Any good cheap options for importing when all hope is lost?

I'm expecting them to answer with a generic "we are working to get it distributed as soon as possible", or even "we aren't responsible of the current state of that product".

EBay and some of the European Amazons. It isn't terrible priced (demand isn't that high I guess), but you aren't going to get a good deal or anything. But at this point I'm sure as heck not going to have the last figure be the absent one in the collection.

I guess this is a fitting end to the franchise. The one facet they always screwed up, communication on releases. If it is due to retailers not wanting to stock it, I wouldn't expect them to announce anything - they will just let it go like Thrillipede and Yawn Traps. They aren't going to go public with that.

To think they are probably the major and only flaws, besides maybe a couple high prices.
Even the most discussed game so far, SuperChargers, weren't outright bad.

That's why I would be extremely sad if the series ended this way: it really wasn't the developers', game or figure quality's fault.
It was basically everything around them which didn't work.

In Germany you can buy the LIM Adventure Pack for only 9,99 € at Gamestop. Actually all Imaginator figures are very cheep there.
Does anyone remember, that after the press converence at the beginningf of this year where Activision announced the mobile game, there was a mysterious Tweet on the official Skylanders Twitter Page which included that something will happen in October... But I do not find this Tweet anymore...

It would certainly be one last 'amazing' F-you from Activision to leave LIM unreleased in the states.

Although....I feel like if I have it imported now, they'll immediately announce a release date afterwords...

You can buy everything really cheap here - that is already out. That's the problem. Stores probably don't want to stock merchandise they will almost certainly have to clearance out very quickly and cheaply. TRU is actually having a Buy 1 Get 4 Free on older figures right now, and Gamestop has Starters dirt cheap. Even Imaginators are really cheap in most stores.

Can I get some links for the Amazon(s?) that will import LIM? I can't find anything through Google and the Ebay prices are eeehhhh.

Amazon themselves are not selling it, just third parties. By the time you add in shipping and currency conversion (and they will not subtract VAT, which Amazon as a seller does), you aren't going to do much better. Just search on RO-BOW on amazon.it, amazon.de. amazon.fr, amazon.es or amazon.co.uk. It also depends on what you want to pay with, remember Amazon doesn't do PayPal.

CTT was released in North America 3-4 weeks after Europe.

LIM released in Europe on May 22th + 4 weeks = June 19th.

Start panicking if it has not been released at the end of the month.

This is depressing that nothing was announced at e3. Shouldn't be surprised. I'm still holding a shred of hope that we will get LIM in the next couple of weeks.

To be fair, at this point you can buy just the PS3 disc for Trap Team from GameStop for under $5. Your Wii portal will work on it.

I wanna buy a cheap XBONE TT starter. I have a bunch of TT Figs and some old traps holding my favorite villains (rebel lob goblin, cpj, luminous, pain-yatta, ect.) and i don't have a tt xbone portal. the only versions my local TRU has are 360/wii versions

Not true at all. The PS3, PS4, Wii and Wii U portals are all cross-compatible with each other, yes...

But the Xbox 360 portal only works on Xbox 360, and the Xbox One portal only works on Xbox One. They have special security chips coded to the specific console.

(The same is true for the other Toys to Life games' toy pads.)

i'll look at gamestop. It'll be the only chance for me to use our fabulous boy again.

I bought an entire Wii Console bundle at a garage sale for $100, and I'm finally living my dream of playing any Skylanders game that isn't Spyro's Adventure. I have played through Swap Force (It was kinda disappointing, but at least I was still able to play) and I'm going to get Trap Team....but is Trap Team glitchy on the Wii?

Also, I know that generally CDs from other consoles won't work on the Wii. But what if it's Skylanders, in the sense that it has the exact same game? Has anyone tried that yet? Like for instance, can you insert a PS3 CD of Skylanders into the Wii?

Lots of LIM in my country. Guess I'll get it this weekend.

The frustrating thing to me is that legally, I can't do my own game with new content - using their figures.

Also when the series relaunches several years from now, expect it to be 100% Digital...there wil lbe a "portal button" that wil lbring you to an Activision store to buy "avatars" of the characters instead of physical characters.

Are there any other issues that I should be aware of? I'm still getting Trap Team for the Wii as its my favorite game of all time. I had to put up with the terrible graphics and the missing features in SWAP Force. I just gotta know any other things.

i'm trying to avoid doing this myself and being patient about it. But he seems to be taking a lot longer for the US then any of the other Imaginator releases aside from the crystals. He is the last character for the game so i'm surprised I hadn't caved in yet.

Well I paid to much, €45 instead of €29.99. But now I am sure that I won't miss it. You ll never know how hard to find it may become.

I don't hope so. It would be a death sentence for ttl and it's collectors. As a collector I really like to chase for the figures. To look in all toystores and online.

The timer is a bit faster the attacks on your characters are slower and clunkier
