We don't know fur sure. Likley? Looks like it, but 100%? No.

Hey is there anything you want me to bring for the rest of the week and if so it’s so cool that you can do something and just do it like that
The bright side: this year is all about my boy Crash. Mah childhood is coming back in a few weeks!
N. Sane trilogy looks really fun! If only it wasn't a PS4 exclusive though. I want a PS4 (Undertale port and other good games) but a 3ds is my priority

Your childhood is still in progress. You're in your 20s, kid.

I was born in 2000. I started with the originals back in 2003 since my uncle owned all thre of em, played em and I loved em. Been a crash fan since the first three : P

Ah, so the 91 in your screenname is a lie. And my bad math was surprisingly close as a result.
Speaking of youngins and uncles, my oldest nephew turns 6 in February... I'm thinking of getting him a Switch and Imaginators then, if he likes playing mine over Christmas and his mom (my sister) approves.

What the ****? No 91 was not a reference to what you thought was my birth year. I didn't want my name to just be skyfan so I thought of a random number. Don't assume false stuff bruh

Off topic but anyone know where I can sell my used Skylanders I don't have the game so I have no use for them. I'm not out of the community but I can't really use my figs so I'm going to sell them hopefully
Don't want to sound annoying, but could someone with a Twitter account ask Rob, TheAsianGuyGamer or any other Skylanders-related youtuber at E3 if they saw anything potentially interesting?
Think I already know the answer, but a sad truth is better than a happy lie.

I still believe a Year 2 announcement might happen at GamesCom, but I'm certainly not holding my breath for it anymore.
Crash will indeed be a nice distraction, and having the same engine as the last two Skylanders games will probably make the lack of content much more tolerable.

Blizzards is notorious for randomly announcing DLC after months of quiet. I'm not sayings it's likely, not by a long shot, but I feel very similarly about the Gamescom thing. But I too, am not holding my breath about it.

Coco is playable in all 3 games, so double run!
Skylanders will (maybe) come back next year for Spyro's 20th Anniversary but if it doesn't, THEN it's bad news for us...
lets just foucs on other staff, like crash, academy season 2 and mabey other games that will come out in 2017.
allso we learnd our lesson: if we ever find a "leak" of potential content in 4chan, we should just need to ignore it becuse it was probobly made by the same mother****er that made "karakatoa".

I still think Krakatoa is real, as 3D model in-game of course.
I wonder:
Did he use photoshop to put a 3D model on the "magic moment" (I still see the blurry movement on the arm + thunder effect so I think it's in-game)?
Did he discover how to mod this game? Because if this case is true, that will perfect for me.

Unless they actually remake the original three games and say "welp, no Skylanders this year either, see you the next one!".
Which I would actually be ecstatic about.
Guess a GamesCom announcement might happen, since it probably wouldn't have been important enough for an E3 showcase anyway, but my point is: why can't they at least tease something?
You know, "look forward to GamesCom", "something is coming to Imaginators", "exciting news this August"... Nope.
The fact they keep being completely silent makes me think they have nothing in store at all.
And yeah, Krakatoa is still what doesn't convince me about all this story.
I have to face the evidence, but did someone really care enough to create a fake model, complete with golden belt and presumably animation and couple it with an image of a (most likely) prototype Barbella figure...?
This is... Odd.
But it is what it is, I just can't help but feel like this.
Unless Activision originally planned to show the figures at E3 but recently changed idea and didn't tel- NO NO NO NO, I'M DOING THIS AGAIN, HELP ME.

Oh well, we still have Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy to play this year, Crash & Spyro are related after all
Not if we don't have a PS4 we don't...
(Also, meh, didn't like Crash on PS1 two decades ago. They made some poor game design choices in the name of experimentation that just turned into laziness. There's a reason most games don't have long running-towards-the-camera obstacle sequences. It's good for a quick panicky bit, but easy to over-do... and Crash over-does.)

You have learned well, padawan.

And after GamesCon comes and goes with nothing, it will be "wait for PAX!", and so on. Listen to yourself guys. E3 is where you talk about games and stuff coming out in the Fall before the holidays. Skylanders needs all the publicity it can get, hiding Year 2 for the biggest show makes zero sense. Activision isn't saying anything because there isn't anything.
Krakatoa is a fake. He didn't even look like a prototype. Why someone would take the time to do that or Barbella? Well some people just enjoy that. People spend TONs of time on customs, sometimes with great results - and with 3D printing being somewhat consumer level now, you can make your own not too expensively. And in game stuff, well Photoshop can do all of that. Seeing how you guys bought it hook, line and sinker was probably enough to justify the time it took the guy to do it.
Whether LIM actually comes out here is a far more pressing concern. Activision's lack of interest in the franchise is starting to worry me about this.

I'm still pretty sure it started with an actual Imaginator that had the head, belt and some extra textures added via Photoshop or the like. Though I don't discount that the head may have been created separately in a 3D graphic application.

It's not a "let's wait for GamesCom!" and wouldn't be a "let's wait for PAX!", like it were for E3.
It would at most be a "guess it might happen, but whatever".
Things changed a lot, and yet you keep talking about how we still blindly believe anything.
Yeah, I personally feel there is something I can't quite wrap my mind around at, with both Krakatoa and Lightcore Barbella.
Should I explain it?
Don't think so, since facts have proven them to be fake, so it doesn't matter.
Lost Imaginite Mines will come to the rest of the world, just like Thrillipede did in the end.
What makes you think they would have spent money and time to create those packs only to let them gather dust?
Of course they will at least try to sell the ones they have produced (and I'm pretty sure they still have more than the ones who arrived in Europe, otherwise you would have been the ones getting them).

The difference is they do not have a follow up game. Activision could very easily cut and run on the game, particularly if retailers aren't anxious to get in new stock.
Thrillipede didn't in the end. We had a brief period at TRU where you could get him online, then some Best Buys got ONE in as did some Targets. That's not really a release. We don't even have that for LIM, and the longer we go the less likely it gets. It isn't like they can put some out during the next game to benefit from that.

But why release them here, then?
Guess Europe might have had better sales in the past, yet I just don't think they would ditch an entire Adventure Pack and its exclusive character.
At least with Thrillipede you had his Armeggeddon version (pretty sure he still got a somewhat wide distribution, even if bad handled); not releasing that pack would mean prevent a big chunk of the customers from getting two items they won't be able to get anywhere else normally.
I still think we shouldn't exclude new games for the future, right now, but I do agree that this year is pretty much their last chance to make Imaginators' toys relevant.
Maybe that's the Q4 Adventure Pack they mentioned, though it would seem a pretty big delay.
Don't know, I think we are very well beyond the realm of logic, at this point.
Crystals are a whole different matter: terribly annoys me as well, but we can get one for each Element, at least.

Because it is a numbers game. If retailers aren't interested, they aren't interested. You are thinking about it like a fan, Activision is under no compulsion to make sure all of the figures are released. They don't even have a game this Fall to worry about making fans mad.
If the amount of money they will make (or not lose) is more by just eating the tax break on the inventory than it costs to sell and ship the figures to retail, they do that. I would feel pretty confident that retailers would want a pretty big discount on the stock at this point.
I sure do hope it comes out, but it isn't looking good.
Mmmmh... Guess what you are saying does make sense.
Yet I'm convinced they will put a little more effort into this situation than the one concerning Heartbreaker Buckshot and the Yawn traps.
There would still be Chompy Mage to properly release as well, even though his Jingle Bell veriant is pretty common.
