As long as it's open-ended, why don't you decide which one? Since it's open-ended, I'm choosing to make my list based on gameplay for example.

Speaking of which, here's mine. It was out of 10, so I had some narrowing down to do:

1) The Chompy Mage: With his pass through movement capabilities when he's in the chompy pile, distraction capabilities and stronger than usual projectile attacks (for a sensei), the Chompy Mage is an awesome sensei to use and is one of few I can count on in Nightmare difficulty play.

2) Grave Clobber/King Pen: I normally don't approve of using /'s like this, but given that Grave Clobber and King Pen are pretty much exactly the same thing, I'm willing to make an exception this time. Both have pass through movement and close range attacks that are strong, which make them very fun to play with a good technique.

3) Dr. Krankcase: Easily one of the highest functioning senseis out there. His soul gem upgrade destroys groups of enemies that are lined up (which happens more often than what you might guess!) and his goo projectiles are fast and effective. The hats' distraction value is a bonus.

4) Hood Sickle: Not only can Hood Sickle attack in an area all around him and do massive damage, but he can also deflect projectiles! Very likable and does well against some remarkably annoying enemies--like Kaos's Bowslinger Doomlander--on higher difficulty settings.

5) Barbella: Barbella's crowd control capabilities are FANTASTIC! She can effortlessly bash enemies in an area all around her and really spread around the pain with her little rocks and cascading earthquakes (the latter of which requires a specific path), which really helps in a lot of situations.

2.Golden Queen
3.???

I would have to really dig into the rest of the cast to decide my remaining three, but I have taken a liking to Grave and Queeny.

I really like using Crash, his spin is good at getting in damage quickly and as a form of crowd control. And if needs be, the TNT makes for a nice range attack with a possibility of extending life or getting a bazooka to safely pick off big targets.

After that, Wolfgang and Starcast are pretty good for me too.

Well that's five, but I want to say that Kaos and Tae Kwon Crow are good, too.
