I feel like if someone is good enough to make this, they would know to edit something like that out. I honestly think it's prototype gameplay.

No it's Krakatoa.

Skylanders has just made the comeback of the year.

I was certain that it was dead. I honestly was. I had lost all hope of seeing anything at E3 and was fully expecting to straight up never hear from the series again.

Being proven wrong has never felt so good!

ok everyone hold your horses, yes its awesome that we saw Krakatoa (although he is allot more uglier then i thought) and yes it could be a confirmation for imagnitors year 2 but lets not rush to say that its fully confirmed. "Krakatoa" can still be fake so before we raise our hopes we need to wait for a full confirmation, just to be sure.

Well, Alpha Ambush made a video with the image in it. To his point, if they take it down, they confirm it.

Here's the thing - during the release, Matteo showed he could use debug parts that looked odd. They don't look like these(it was a human head), but unless this guy's head is an actual serrated disc, this is very much a Brawler/Smasher body that happens to use the same textures as the lava arms.

If it's real tho, I fear for I-Wei. This ain't his work, that's for sure, nor Jeff Murchie's.

Honestly though, why go through the trouble of making this.

I think the "head" we're seeing might actually supposed to be some sort of hat. Like those Japanese hat things (I don't know what they're actually called), and he just happens to be bending over.

That's exactly what I'm thinking as well: we can't see his face because he's bending over, and his "hat" kinda reminds me of a squid head, precisely like the heads of the Independence Day's aliens, which would fit the "Cthulhu-like" description.

This is an interesting development. I still think there's a possiblity of random part modding going on, but this is certainly a strange thing that we're seeing right now.

User claims to have gotten B-Roll Footage of the figures (Possibly implying multiple figures like Void and LC Barbella) that is for this years E3. Careful though people 4chan almost never has leakers or and kinda of news of skylanders considering what board this was posted onto also makes this strange.

After looking at the picture several times, I have to say I think that the quality of the animation is way too good to be an imaginator. And the pose is wrong. So I think it's unlikely that this is just an imaginator someone made.

I really hope it's real.

Although I'd love to have %100 faith in this , I'm mostly questioning the characters realness coz it actually looks too inventive for a Skylander. It's incredibly beast like compared to the narrow aesthetic the franchise has evolved into over the past couple of years ( humanoid elemental warriors ) .

Characters like this would be a great way to revamp the series though.

Your mind is a thing, and empyrical backed up facts are another one.

Well yeah, I'm just saying there's no actual rules. rob-bow is just a dark grey/ black robot with a gold belt too. There's no real reason why Krakatoa has to be wearing black and gold clothes besides the belt.
The belt is the only real defining feature.

Not sure how much of Chain Reaction is his actual body, but he technically has little to no gold and black elements outside from what he's made up of, I guess?

Of course he could simply have more gold hidden on the back, or be an unfinished model: when you think about it he could even have wings, we are literally seeing only a still frame of his entire animation and know nothing outside of that.
