He pretty closely fits the Brawler's DANCE pose, in which the weapon disappears.

The only things that aren't in the app right now are the weird-ass head... thing, whatever it's supposed to be, and the belt. The rest of the body is straight out of the Creator App.

...how do we know that's real? It doesn't look very Skylanders to me. It's not moving or anything either. I'm not the usual "photoshop!" guy, but I've got no level of excitement from this.

Oh Great Eon, I thought I must have waited for E3 for potential news, but no... HERE WE ARE.
I won't calm down, I couldn't care less, I had these whole months to keep calm and now I want to explode with joy!

But I will force myself and do a quick analysis:
I think this is 100% legit, the "Fire Brawler" tag under the name is probably there because it's a very early prototype.
It's pretty hard to make out his features due to the pose: I think he is looking down, and that "eye" is actually a motif on some kind of hat of crest (like Tri-Tip's).
He might have tentacles under his chin or something like that, and we simply can't see them because of the position; no tail in sight either, but it might be the same situation.

The belt proves he's a Sensei, unless they added it as a part for Imaginators in Lost Imaginite Mines.
Finally, he might be a quadruped (which wouldn't confirm more body shapes for Imaginators, mind it) or it might simply be a specific part of his magic moment where he poses like a gorilla.

Can't wait to see Void now, betting for a Dark Quickshot!

From what I can tell in FotoForensics, the image is not photoshopped.

So I saw the picture. And honestly, what is that. I really doesn't look anywhere near good nor does it look very Skylander-like. And yes, I know, Chain Reaction. Well to me Chain Reaction definitely screams Skylander but Krakatoa literally looks like some weird picture...

I can confirm that Zap is not the person who originally discovered it.

During the last weeks, everyone remotely believing in the Barbella leak was deemed ridiculous and foolish by many, almost as if we were talking about some kind of conspiracy theory.

I won't do the same, now, but I hope you can see the similarities.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm still hopeful for a Year 2 myself.

I just don't believe this is proof. It looks super duper fake.

Also, here' something to keep in mind. The 4chan poster said that they received B-Roll footage last week, which was around the same time Yroc and CoinOpTV went to Activision. Now I messaged Cory and he told me that there was nothing Skylanders related at that particular event, but of course, if he was under NDA he wouldn't have been able, to tell the truth. I messaged Cory just now and asked what he thought about it. He told me it looked cool. When I asked him about the legitimacy of it he did not respond any further. He could have just been ignoring me, which I wouldn't blame him for doing, or he might not have known how to respond.

He dosen't look fake at all he is very polished and his his colors and texture look like something from the same engine that the developers use for skylanders

I'm silently hoping his "head" is just like a hat and that he's bending his actual head and face down.
