Well, I haven't heard many people say the franchise is 100% dead, but I will admit he brings up some valid points, such as the news drought we get every year around this time.

This comment clearly shows you didn't watch the video. He wasn't talking about drama in the slightest in his video.

Still only news to people who started in the franchise recently. Again, we waited until june KNOWING we'd have Imaginators. Even if it's the AP, Skylanders RPG, whatever, we aren't hearing anything for some time still.

My thing mybe activision focusing more on the new games there making and don't have the time for a skylanders related topic mybe ?

dragon quest heros 2 get free dlc for months after release. so it can be done and after 7 games with tons of figures and there is no more skylanders, activision could do this as a good gesture and thank you to their customers.

Well, they did add a free specific set with the Adventure Packs update, but new levels are another level of content (pun not intended).

I think it would be a great idea as well, free in-game levels (maybe a new campaign), lots of new parts and maybe a couple new figures.
Unfortunately, I don't think we are talking about a company willing to do those kind of things (more like "sure, lock the Battle Class to the Crystal, because I'll totally want to buy a new one for each of the Imaginators I come up with") and I'm still uncertain about the future of the series and TfB.

Regarding Lost Imaginite Mines potentially being the Q4 Adventure Pack, it's comepletely possible, but as of now it is still listed to come out at the end of May and that's the only "solid" information we have.
I it won't happen, the I guess that would definitely be the case.

How to describe
Darkspyro in one word
Drama

They should reboot the series and do things that actually make sense and focus on the gameplay and making the next game fresh and new instead of just slightly better graphics and a new gimmick.
We need
1.new combat style...The combat is good but I'm pretty sure that it would be nice to try something new after 6 games.

2.New camera angle.

3.New animation style + redesign some of the old characters to make them more fun and to show more emotions and stuff

4. Add more lore without screwing shiiiz...and please don't make it about another rare material that is related to the next gimmick just like traptinum and imagnite.

5. creative boss battles I don't want it to be similar to the doomlanders and their dumb boss fights.

6.PVP

7.Post gameplay for 10 or 20 fan favourite characters...That is going to helps us to learn more about the charcters or at least relive their back stories.

8.Make the npc's more exciting let us know more about them...They pretty much have the same roles Which is Hey Skylander over here or head over to this area...we don't actually get any help from them or at least a fun interaction...I want to go on missions with cali and Tessa and have them follow me around in levels. I want buzz to invent things with mags and place them in the hub.

9.I like how they made Spyro , Stealth , pop , Eruptor and jet-v npc charcerts I would love it if they kept them around for the next game or at least have them walk around in the hub area....it would be cool if we can pick 2 of them to go on missions with us.

I rember someone saying that the developers read our posts on dark Spyro...I though that I should just share some ideas there's like a 0.99 chance that they might actually consider my thoughts lol

Chris at TFB hasn't visited in a long time and the VV devs(who did visit it occasionally) no longer work with the games as far as we know.

Chris at TfB does pop here every so often still. He was on a few days ago.

The comics are just repackaged versions of the Minicomics released a while back. Maybe with some changes, but the covers show they're the same as the ones from TT and last year.

What do you guys think would be better/make the most sense - Chef Pepper Jack as a Knight and Nightshade as a Swashbuckler, or the other way around?

Pepperjack as a Swashbuckler could be fun, give him a spoon and a fork for weapons.

We already sorta have a Dark Swashbuckler:

I've always depicted Nightshade as a Bowslinger and Chef Pepper Jack as a Bazooker, but I guess the former could work with two daggers and the latter with either a meat clever or a fire sword (because... just look at Blaster-Tron).

Does anyone know Tidepool's voice actress? Because she actually sounds like Hellena Taylor. (Who, for those who don't know, is the woman who voices Bayonetta)

If Pepper Jack was a Knight, I see him with a giant kitchen knife that he uses like a sword. If he's a Swashbuckler, I see him with dual meat cleavers.

If Nightshade was a Knight, I see him with either a dark, runic or paladin sword. If he's a Swashbuckler, I see him with dual daggers that he can slash and throw.

It's likely not the same VA, but it is similar, if not an intentional impression.

Nah, she doesn't sound too much like Hellena Taylor once you remove the accent. She kinda sounds like Urbosa's VA from BOTW actually, but I think the voice actors there are far too obscure for Activision to use.

Pepper jack would be cool as either a Bazooker or a Swash buckler .
Nightshade would be awsome as a brawler...and with every punch he would steal money from enimes.
Luminous can fit perfectly with any class !! He's just so preciousssss * in sky dad's voice * OMG lol

Luminous- brawler (punches/kicks, crystal fan summons and crystal drops)

Dreamcatcher- bowslinger (hair-bow and arrow w dream arrows, tornadoes)

CPJ- swashbuckler (dual meat cleavers)

Nightshade- knight (musketeer sword)

Gulper- sentinel (dual trident)

So I got Tidepool & Blaster-Tron. Both figures look really nice, especially Tidepool. In-game, Blaster-Tron is a bit bland without any upgrades, but I'm sure he'll get better. Tidepool however is amazing. Her attacks aren't that strong but they're quick and hit a lot of enemies. Really looking forward to upgrading these two.

If V.V. became the new Crash developer and TfB became the new Spyro ones (I'm taking for granted they will remake his original trilogy just like they did for Crash, let me dream) I think I would faint with joy.

This way they could both take a break from Skylanders, maybe occasionally releasing minor content for Imaginators or the seventh game, and return to it when they'll have more and better ideas.

Glad to hear that about Tidepool, since she's the one which intrigues me the least between the two.
Blaster-Tron already has the "I'M A COOL RETRO ROBOT WITH A HUGE SWORD" factor by his side.

I got my beautiful Bridepool at Target today. And also Blaster-tron.

Just Ro-Bow left, now. It's weird to think that his release might be the very last time I ever hunt down a new Skylander in stores.

I deeply hope VV comes back to Skylanders. SF and SSC for the win.

Or at least just the Spyro trilogy they make better graphics than TFB...TFB even asked VV to make some of the cutscenes for imaginators.
