Hmm. Well that's good news if my Germany order doesn't come though. But is a Friday release date normal? I seem to recall Sunday being a normal date for them.

I wonder why it took so long for them to give a date. Certainly they must have known it wouldn't release in the US on the 12th and yet Activision remained silent up to and then past the 12th. Not even an acknowledgement that there was a delay. They could have at least done that and said the new date would be announced shortly and that would have saved people from driving around looking for something that wasn't there. Not a good way to treat your customers.

It's already apparently due to the major amount of flooding and awful weather that California has been receiving as of recent. The distribution centers are located there; they can't do anything about that.

They should just release on the final ones at this point with the on the 7th!!!

That wont happen. They wont be out until middle or late May. This is Acti you are talking about. Their dates would never be right because they don't try hard enough to make that a priority. They know that they will get bought when ever the items are out.

I can understand that there were elements beyond their control that forced the delay. My question is why they couldn't have been more clear to their customers about that. They must have known this was the case on the 12th and it isn't like it is difficult to put a message up on a website.

That logic makes perfect sense; we have to remember that they always choose the path that puts the largest amount of money in their pockets. However, in this case, posting on Twitter doesn't cost them anything, so there is no reason for them to not be posting very much.
