I wonder how resetting crystals will effect the Switch version of the game. If I store a Fire Sorcerer, then reset my crystal with SSA 3DS and create a Fire Knight, will the Fire Knight replace the Fire Sorcerer? Or will the game treat it like a new crystal, allowing me to have both stored in the game at the same time?

Considering that Skylanders come with a unique code to identify each specific toy, I would imagine crystals register basically the same way. Is there anyway to check the code?

I wonder what would happen if a Skylander figure and its digital copy on Switch are upgraded on different paths.

So mah boi Wendel is back in place of Skylanders Raceway? I guess he was so inspired by resetting creation crystals in the 3DS game that he decided to perform some more creation crystal exploits in the Switch version.

Not really. You have to keep the crystal blank. You can try out the different battle classes on the Switch version as much as you like while the crystal is still blank (by deleting your created Imaginators from the Switch digital library and then rescanning the blank crystal), but once you write to the crystal (on any platform), there's no going back.

So then you only get 1 Imaginator per crystal figure saved in the library, right?

Seems to be one per mold, since they use the same icons as the Collection Menu.

I'll check if I have any duplicate crystal molds in the morning and see if I can get them both registered independently

My friend Carl (malicedoll79) got the pain yatta single pack but here's the twist he got the chase varient of it and he got TWO YES TWO chase pain yattas!

I'm starting to get worried. Cursed Tiki Temple is supposed to come out in a week, yet we still don't have any packshots and it isn't listed on amazon.de or any other one except Italy as far as I know. I'm starting to fear we won't be getting it next week.

The fact they used Wendel as an excuse for the Switch's exclusive functionality is yet another demonstration the developers truly care for this series, in my opinion.

They could have not cared about the library feature and act as if the pad were a more advanced Portal, or not acknowledge that at all, but instead they motivated it by using a very old NPC which had a similar function.

I admit I'm kinda jealous, though.
I'd want him in other versions as well, without his ability of course, just as a regular NPC (maybe in one of the new Adventure Packs?).
Would be great to have him in Imaginators, ad I personally consider it to be the closest to a definitive Skylanders experience we've got so far.

Wendel's model is pretty weird though. I don't think he's used for the APs with that appearance.

Second, as for Headcanons, mine for him is that Wendel is a Portal Master in training. I used to have this headcanon for Hugo, but Wendel fits it better.

Wow I can't believe they brought Wendel back from the SSA 3DS game back into the console. So now him, Moneybone and Frightbeard are now three 3DS characters to appear on the console versions of Skylanders.

Now if the Ferryman could get attention he so much deserves... :c

I was suspecting he would't have had a voice actor (don't know why, since I think he had one in SA 3DS), but it was hard to tell from the video posted in the General Discussion topic.

I agree with your headcanon, Hugo probably should have become a Portal Master but I think he's simply Eon's assistant now (though he sounds pretty excited when he gets to announce Elemental Zones in SuperChargers).

According to the wiki(too lazy to check the credits), he was voiced by Anthony Hansen in SSA3DS. He did speak in cutscenes and went 'heya' when you interacted with him, so unless he was voiced it doesn't change much.

I got the Dark Crystal today!


My Toys R Us had EVERYTHING. Literally everything thats been released thus far, including both Dark Crystals and Wave Four.

How were the stock levels of the crystals? In particular the dark reactor?

I struggled to get w3 crystals in Australia, it was as if each store only got 1 set.. Hopefully stock levels change a little.

Did they have CTT?
