Well I kinda figured Activision would be at E3, but I think what we're really counting on is tfb or vv having their own booth. And not just showing more of Crash

Well, Crash N. Sanity trilogy and Destiny 2, plus the new Call of Duty (because there will be another one) have to be officialy introduced. Remember thant Activision and Blizzard are now together, so Blizzard's new stuff will be included too. No Skylanders doesn't mean anything bearing all of this in mind. It's not the end of Activision.

I wonder how many Skylanders questions they'll field on their stand?

People said public E3 isn't worth the money unless you just see obscure games tho
For a tiny sliver of chance of Skylanders? Might as well ask someone who's willing to wait in line for hours.

This sounds interesting, but, I don't know what they are doing at E3, if they deconfirmed Sky 7, the next games would be COD or Guitr hero

Doubt there's going to be anything related to Skylanders this year if there's no game this year, unless they want to make a big deal out of that mobile RPG. Other then that I'm expecting it to be mostly COD or... Whatever else they have...

well i am not really care about this but if they will talk about skylanders then it will be nice to get a clarification on several things.

I won't be expecting anything relating to this. Basically, there won't be anything yet to show. E3 shows in june things you're going to buy in Christmas, and as much, on february-march of the next year, and only a little few. I don't think they're showing a mobile game that's gonna be released at the end of 2018.

Well, they can show distant games. Sony is well-known for showing games that will take years to actually release, while Nintendo is well-known to just announce things that will release very soon. But yeah, I'm not expecting Skylanders in there.

Not an Activision IP, unless they i´m making a Skylanders Kingdom Hearts Adventure Pack, now that´s something i would buy in a heartbeat. But that´s not happining, pls for the 15th Anniversary, you´re already got Bowser, D.K and Crash appear there why not Sora.

Also there´s no confirmation of KH3 this E3 but it sounds super likely.

It straight up can't happen. The VV Sky 7 was cancelled for sure and that was confirmed, and TFB was working on the APs AND had major parts of the direction leave. Unless they're gearing up to kill the franchise with an actual bad game by rushing in another dev team, there isn't anyone left for it.

Personally I think sky 7 will come next year after all Activision did say just because no new game this year don't mean that the franchise is dead. (Everyone please respect my opinion and don't bash on me )

Oh, no bashing. I agree, I expect another Skylanders game to be released for holiday 2018. I think the number of people around here who actually think the franchise is dead is just a vocal minority and a small handful of trolls.

And Spyro fans that might've gotten too used to that kind of loss.

I mean, we are getting the mobile game. If it's anything like Summoners War, it's not going to be small. But unless they actually put TFB as co-developer, there'll be a hole in the lore that Com2us can't fill.

The irony of the complaints that "Skylanders is too juvenile for true Spyro fans" is that the first ever Spyro game released when I was in college and I bought it to play over the summer with my 6 year old sister who was just starting to get interested in video games.

I played through the game to 100% completion with her in just a couple afternoons. My opinion at the time was that it was an okay game to play alongside my sister, but too kiddie for me to really enjoy.

(I much preferred Ape Escape, but I don't want to start $#!@ over it.)

Anyone calling Skylanders juvenile should take a second look at AHT's writing. The former might have fart jokes but at least no one made fun of women or old people like it's the pinnacle of comedy.

EITHER WAY, mobile games usually get fully revealed like a month before release since they have to bank on people's short term memory(or we end up with Battlecast), so we won't even get the Skylanders RPG footage this E3 unless Acti rushes it out :I

Skylanders always release in fall which I find weird

Most AAA games release in the September-November time frame to capitalize on holiday shopping to boost sales. If you release a game earlier too much earlier than that, people forget about it by the time the holiday shopping really kicks off.

Skylanders doubly makes sense to release in this window since they're selling physical toys along with the game.
