Early Boumcer looks just like Robo Kaos lol

I want Early Bouncer to be put into Destiny.

Old bouncer is way too generic IMO.

I actually don't like the old GQ design...not for her, or for anyone period. We have enough bipedal creatures with a big sword. There are more weapons out there. There are more archetypes as well. Go all out and give her 6 arms. Make some more melee characters with different fighting styles than "generic boxer".

No string weapon users?
Not much in the "laser" department...
Nunchuks?
Feet/kicks?
Dark Matter user?
More shields?
Air melee?
Transforming?
Pets (dominant, not like a secondary)?
Gas?
Object creation?
Psychic?

there are so many more options they can look at without doing more "Big Sword" or "pole/axe"...

though as I say that, I can't help but wish there was a character like "Metal Bat" from One Punch Man...

It's an evil robot with a cool design and two, TWO, machine guns. My inner child is happy enough to care if it's unnoriginal or not. Although I understand what you're saying and I agree with your point, but not in the hard way.

I'm still convinced smaller figures would be the starting point to create better and more original characters.
I have the feeling the majority of Trap Masters and Senseis are so big because they wouldn't have been as impressive if they were Core-sized (and also because they can have a higher price, of course).
Not to mention the fact I personally think it is just wrong that some of those characters are even bigger than certain Giants, toy-wise.

Let's look at the last two games who used proper Cores, which are coincidentally the ones who have what I consider the best rooster overall: designs such as Pop Thorn, Rocky Roll, Star Strike, Tread Head, Fryno and many more managed to be special and unique even by remaining small and "classic".
Which is probably why certain Gimmicklanders (for example Air Strike, Short Cut and Chopscotch) are also just as good, at least design-wise.

I agree with less weapon-wielding humanoid characters and more beasts/melee fighters/special power users.
I'd also like less antropomorphic animals and more completely invented creatures or mythological figures: Mysticat was a great addiction to the cast (even though I'm still unsure what he actually resembles, probably a manticore), and so were the aforementioned Chopscotch and Wolfgang.
Buckshot is only the second faun in the entire series, and Grave Clobber is technically the first Water stone golem ever.
Even Air Strike could be considered an entirely fictional creature, though he resembles a monkey and a character from Sonic Colors.

I had hoped they would make a Skylanders game devoted to dragons. There is still a lot you can do there: different wing type/flying style like pounce, glide, dive-bomb, and breath attacks like ice, fire, lightning, acid, tornado, and claw attacks, and bite attacks. That would be cool to be able to order your own custom figures with colors and parts to choose from.

A dragon devoted game would not be a good idea imo. Skyanders has so much variety species wise, that a species exclusive game would come off as alienating. Variety in Skylanders in the spice of life.

I do wish we got a imaginator option to make a quadruped though, to make dragons, griffon, dogs and other four legged critters.

Maybe a good gimmick could be more characters like Rocky Roll, Fright Rider, and Air Strike that work as a humanoid/animal team. You'd be able to switch the animals around.

The naming would be simple- the animals and "trainers" have separate names. The animal's name shows up with the trainer's name in the magic moment and UI.

Example- giving "Gardoom" his partner animal would show as "Gardoom & Rosebud", and giving another trainer "Rosebud" would show up as "Knight Owl & Rosebud"

Trainers would have moves 1 and 3, and animals would have 2- just like SWAP force. The animals attach to the sides of the trainer's base using a magnet.

This could be a sick game. With the rise of virtual reality, I think dragons are going to make a huge impact at some point. It could integrate Skylanders in a different way and give the gamer a unique point of view through a dragon's eyes. How can you not think this is amazing? Like Avatar, but a different point of view.

Thinking about it, more creatures from the global folklore would be cool: lake monsters, the Jersey Devil, the Chupacabra, ningens, more classical aliens, the Mokele Mbembe.
They could even make a game out of this concept: Kaos decides to recruit some of Earth most fearsome legendary creatures, but instead they decide to join the Skylanders to help them fight him.

This is kiiinda a stretch, but even Bowser could be considered a mythical creature: I just realized he shares some strong similarities with the Tarasque, an armored lion-faced dragon from a french tale.

I think his case is simlar to Mysticat, albeit different: both have a rather clear inspiration for they designs but their actual species are either different or completely original.
It's just a personal theory though, I have no idea if they actually looked at the Tarasque to create him.

To answer your previous post, I don't believe there has been any trace of goblins in the franchise so far (Lob Goblin is a troll), and Head Rush could tehcnically be considered a minotaur.
A very unusual one, not unlike how Eye-Brawl is a cyclops.

Folk monsters! Awesome idea!

Koopas are just turtles. Kappas are more like monster ducks with shells.

Goblins seem to be just a subspecies of Troll from what Threatpack and Lob Goblin imply, not unlike Ogres and Cyclopses.

About the entire story of Bowser, I gave a small search at Mario Wiki about his inspirations:

For the character's appearance, Miyamoto drew inspiration from an anime film adaptation of the Chinese novel Journey to the West, renamed Alakazam the Great during the film's American localization. He liked the film's main antagonist Gyū-Maō (lit. "Ox Demon King," King Gruesome in the dub), so loosely based Bowser on an ox as a homage.

Yoichi Kotabe, an animation artist, later joined Nintendo and was asked to do new illustrations for the Mario series. His only reference was the package illustration for Super Mario Bros., so Kotabe asked Miyamoto many questions on how to draw the characters. However, designing Bowser caused problems, since Miyamoto hadn't drawn him often. He brought up that he liked the Ox King from the film, and this was how he imagined Bowser, but Nintendo designer Takashi Tezuka pointed out that Bowser should be a turtle. Through their discussions, Bowser's appearance gradually came together. Since he was now in the turtle family with the Koopa Troopas, they partly based Bowser's new appearance on them. Finally, the new design was created, and Miyamoto congratulated himself by saying "Wow, I can really make Bowser look cool now!"

There are mermaids in the books, and they're pretty cool looking.



The fact both Mask of Power and the lorebooks share a design makes me think they were planned for the games, if not multiple times(due to their release windows). Quite a shame that they can only be made as Imaginators.

i hope that if there will be sky7 that they will make a mermaid skylander. even batter make gill girlfriend to a skylander, it will be really romantic and can be a graet headcanon metrial.

First of all, We have a topic for Lightseekers right here.

Second of all, the issue brought up in the video was very vague and didn't actually explain how this could happen. After doing a little research (because linking articles is hard hurr durr) it seems like the doll in question was one that the child speaks to. Last I checked, I can't have a conversation with Jax and Kora. While this doesn't mean that the Lightseekers figures are immune from hacking, but it's a slightly different technology.

Finally, these haven't even come out yet! Give them a chance to screw up before writing them off completely. They have a forum, they have a Twitter. You can bring up these concerns like a normal consumer and I assure you that they will respond.

The Easter variants are almost here, but I wonder they're doing two, or is the Easter Tae Kwan Crow actually being released. There are other Sensei, besides Air Strike and Flareewolf, that could be better.
