No Sky7 for now. Skylanders Mobile Game RPG in Development for 2018 by popular Korean game devs.

A game around Hex and her battle against Malefor. THAT'S the game. It could cover also Cynder's story. My wishes for Sky 7...

Yep, which is why I keep bringing up mini-games and the such with short smaller games being developed by other developers not in house. The show is step one to popularizing OTHER characters in the series (even though they didn't try to really), the second part are games...imagine dropping $20 and getting some kind of XBLA style game where when you put one of the SAS or Giants figure (not character) on the portal, it unlocks a mini-game specific to them using all kinds of different games, whether it be a sports game, *bowling with Wrecking Ball* or a multi-player side scroller using the dragons, or Whack a mole with whamshell or Crusher, or a Bullet Hell Game featuring characters with wings...and Warnado, who could have his own game played out as the blue shell in Mario Kart (j/k).

They don't have to be big or huge time sinks, but something that adds value to each type of figure...so if you have 5 different Trigger Happys, you get 5 things for it. Could even make it like an arcade - with mini-game leaderboards and then a massive leaderboard for the whole thing, so people with larger collections can run it up.

Well, we had a start with Sprocket Tanktics(not explaining since spoilers). It was just asset reusal, not very complex, but it shows they can do it and know how to make an excuse to have it in the main games. Maybe if SC's gimmick was what and not full on vehicles, and the SuperChargers themselves unlocked that part of the gameplay...

A game around Spyro and his goal to find a way back to Sparx and his friends would be nice. xD
Maybe Ripto and Gnasty Gnorc are working together again and banished Spyro to the Skylands, and he lost all his memories (and his good looking, because of a curse).
Now the dragon world has no more hero and is in danger, because Ripto and Gnasty Gnorc are reign about the whole dragon realm.

Just kidding.

Spyro games alongside Skylanders would work, since his Machine of Doom backstory more or less says Eon one day went to Classic Spyro(possibly?) in Dragon World and went 'hey do you want to beat people up *daily* instead of just whenever sorcerers appear' and he was like 'sure'. Though the comics blurred that a bit and didn't really say if it's Classic,LOS, or another Spyro that retained their enemies.

But a stage set in Classic Spyro' universe would be pretty interesting. Ripto again, anyone? He didn't died enough I guess.

Ripto is pretty much the best villain in the classic series, so if any of them should appear, it's him. His design is also easily adapted into Skylanders without looking too samey or too different.

I think every classic Spyro character is easy to adapted into Skylanders universe. Maybe Kaos should team up with Red or Ripto

Bitfrost yeah I also think they could make classic Spyro games alongside Skylanders. Nintendo do it also with Mario characters. Activision could easily do the same thing.

I think there are too few kids games today. PS2/Wii generations had a lot of platformers and other kids games. These day you can count platformer on one hand. Sonic, Mario, Skylanders ... I hope Crash N.Sanity Trilogy and Yokka&Laylee will be successful.

But... he died drowning in lava... you know, it's difficult to survive that type of thing.

He still got out and got beat up(unfortunately ETD is still canon as far as we know), I don't think that'll do him in.

He also came back in the GBA games and they are canon too.

So I've been thinking I might just cave in and get Imaginators for the Switch, since I don't wanna perform any more updates on the Wii U since I already have memory issues on it. Plus I'm totally fine with playing through the game again. I might even be able to get the Switch, starter pack, and adventure pack all in March if I have enough since I have some unused gift cards.

I'd be totally for standalone games starring individual Skylanders. There's certainly enough Skylanders to choose from. Though I'm willing to bet the only one that would be unanimously respected would be a Spyro one.

I Love the ideas of upcoming games that delve into the backstories of the older figures, especially Hex/Cynder and Stealth Elf' s origin

An idea hit me for Skylanders 7...
Have the villain, whoever it may be, travel back in time to prevent Ron forming his Elite Skylanders by trying to alter their history. Example, what if Cynder had not joined the Skylanders, and so forth.

I always wanted something where we get to relive the Skylanders' backstories (mostly because of Hex, but everyone knows how obsessed I am with her at this point.)

So where are things at with the Easter variants? Are they still scheduled to release at the end of the month?

I think that if we get anything, which I doubt we will, it will probably just be the game and a few characters for people to try out. Nothing new. But it would be nice to maybe get some AP previews.

Activision hasn't been a Toy Fair since Swap Force. I doubt they'd be there.

Roller Brawl and trigger happy: A Dark / Twisted RPG/Combat/Shooting Game...where you go to haunted houses , forests and other creepy places and you fight zombies , were wolves , ghosts and more...now that's a game that I would buy in a heart beat.(Ghoast roster and whirl wind are also in this game as a couple )

Spyro and Cynder can come back in a new Spyro game.

A Spyro and Crash game would be cool.

Astroblast : now that would be cool , his planet got destroyed and he could only save a few of his loved ones...so he's going to seek revenge and stuff.

Jet-vac : can have a game similar to battlefield...Stormblade and free ranger can make appearances too.

Roller Brawl parody of Ghosts n' Goblins would be actually pretty cool to see. The indie game Curses n' Chaos already does a good job of upping the spooky scary while keeping the simplistic art style.

That's why I think individual chapters dedicated to certain characters are a better concept.

They should take 3D printed characters to the next level. Maybe do a set of Imaginators that are voted as the best to be made into painted figures. Yeah...

I like Roller Brawl, but I prefer characters with a deeper backstory.

Nightfall fighting the Leviathan and other abyssal evil creatures like a demon/monster huntress, in a game like Devil May Cry and with a twist of terror theme.
