That's fair. This has been a bit of a learning experience for all of us involved. It might be best to not interact with him any more. There is no changing his mind, no matter how wrong he was.

We laughed at his rumors, sidestepped to get his Patreon news when it started getting real, and started to fight him on twitter because some people on the fandom and the actual franchise don't get how leakers work. I admit it definitely wasn't easy to accept a potential end for this series (and even if it's still not confirmed its indeed much more likely now), and I was simply a bit suspiscious because that wasn't a proper official statement.

Even then, Liam showed a certain support to this community, letting us know about TfB's situation and encouraging supporting them by buying the upcoming Adventure Packs, so I absolutely don't see a single reason to mock him.

All copy and paste from the website :c at least the Dive Clops cannon makes a great cat toy(she loves brightly colored balls to chase after). Guess if I wanted any luck at real lore I should've gone for the Trap Team mags, now it's far too late.

Until last night, I did not understand just how much the community disliked Liam, and would resort to things like name calling, cussing, etc. The whole situation is bad on both sides and I have asked everyone I have connections to to stop. I never should have attacked him, even after his thing about Steve Smith. It was bait, and I took it. I really want to apologize to the community as a whole for making them look bad and encouraging others to harass him. We really should drop this though. I think Cory was right in what he said earlier. This is a place for news and discussion about Skylanders, not Twitter drama. I'd be happy to talk via DM if someone wants me to pass stuff along to the rest of the community.

It's sad that the Internet will never change and will always be the black hole of existence and time itself. It's also said that no fanbase could ever get along. Whether it's the same fanbase or two different ones. It's sad that as time moves on humans get more and more aggressive and darker eventually leading up to war or even worse. It's said that the world hadn't been changing as much as of being a better place. Life is something that your only given once and now a days you really can't seem to enjoy it. In the end life is just a thing nothing now but just a thing. Will it ever change? Possibly. Will there be more peace in the world? I don't know. I'm done my speech. That is the right attitude, ninja9351. You don't have to agree or accept, but internet drama is a game where the only winning move is not to play. Apologize and move on if you feel like you went too far, that doesn't mean the other guy is right in any way. It just means you owned up to *your* mistake and if they think they can keep going, they'll be only talking to themselves. Can be Liam, can be the impulsive kids, can be anyone.

On actual news, one day to Valentines, and just like Persona 5, Heartbreaker Buckshot might've left us waiting. Now we can move on to real husbandos like Grave Clobber.

I'm also totally broke, and I always wait for better late deals or second hand, but because I can't afford getting figures in other way. For me, is this or nothing. But if I could/wanted, I'll did it. I'm thinking about buying Wild Storm adventure pack the first day it comes out,but more like a symbolic gesture for TfB. It's also true that figures are expensive, above all since Trap Team, and each year each game released more figures in general. I'm not going to blindly satisfy Acti's money expectation either. But all this don't make me neither a bad person nor a bad fan. Acti has the blame.

I was talking in general, anyway. Compared to SA or Giants, new games have more figures or are more expensive. Because if you say "Imaginators has the same number of toys than SA", oh, well, but they cost almost the double. There's a difference here.

I thought mentioning Traps would be enough of an implication that I counted all non-Skylander items.

But, to specify, I counted every single figure. Skylanders, Traps, Vehicles, Creation Crystals, Magic Items (incl. APs, BPs, EPs, Trophies and Imaginite Chests), Alt Decos, Minis, Elites, Series+ and LightCores. The only thing I didn't count was (Chase) Variants.

SuperChargers: 40* Skylanders, 32* Vehicles, 4 Trophies.
Imaginators: 45** Skylanders, 34 Creation Crystals, 5 Magic Items.
*: Including the Nintendo Exclusives

Swap Force Total: 75 +8 Magic Items (+1 RFID Card)
Trap Team Total: 145 +9 Magic Items

Interestingly, Imaginators has the exact same amount of figures as Swap Force (if you count the card), while SuperChargers has a bit less. And if you exclude the Nintendo Exclusives, it has about the same amount as Giants (SSC: 64 +4, SG: 62 +2 (+4 Sidekicks)).

BTW, I'm not arguing price, only amount. But with that being said, inflation is a thing, so it does make sense as to why figures cost a bit more per unit. And I'm definitely not comparing any of the games to Spyro's Adventure, which only had 37 Skylanders and 12 Magic Items (+4 Sidekicks).

I'm a firm believer in supporting small business.

I'm a firm believer in supporting what you believe in.

If you want something, then you spend money up to what you value on it.

The problem is the business model for Skylanders pushes that value to the max. There are only a handful of characters I feel I actually got my moneys worth out of...too many of the characters I have, its because I became more collector than player. I still have the Trigger Happy triple pack and the Roller Brawl double pack from SC in the packaging.

If you want old figures, I'll yell second hand faster than anyone...go on eBay - search "skylanders lot" and have fun.

But right now is a weird period. On one hand, I want the series to keep going, so I feel we NEED to pump money into it. On the other hand, the current financial model is breaking/broken. $400+ a year for a game that gets less than 100 hours of play time? Where figures are forward compatible, but the new figures are cranked up so much that the old figures CAN'T keep up? So I have to ask, do I like skylanders so much that I'm willing to spend $60 - a brand new game worth of money - on what will be the equivalent of TWO levels, 2 new figures, and 2 crystals that I already have...to create characters that I already can as they are only adding pieces and not archetypes or moves? That's a tough pill to swallow considering if there IS a new Skylander game in the future, the reality is I won't put anything I from SI on the portal for the new game?

THIS is why I have been championing dynamic content and arcade games. They should be releasing $15-$20 packs on XBL or PSN or whatever the Wii store is - that consist of skylander themed games that use the existing hardware. SC gave us vehicles, give us a straight up Mario Kart clone. Give us a Battle Arena. Give us some true episodic content. Give us an RPG...could even be sprite based to keep cost low and provide something new if you will. All these things could be done at a small price, go hand and hand with the Netflix show, could be developed by competitively priced upstart developers. Heck they could even go the Wii U route, and have each figure unlock a specific mini-game. They need to add value to the existing toys...otherwise the current price structure is just unsustainable. Look at the useless Amiibos...they look good but don't do SQUAT for etertainment value. Splatoon? Here are soem challenges to unlock some gear you should get ANYWAYS for spending $30 on amiibos. Oh yeah these two amiibos let you change the music.

That's piss-poor value. If I just want collectibles, I would go get REAL collectibles. I want something to play. My family wants something to play. So do I give the mmoney in hopes of a turn around as I will not get $60 worth of value out of what they release, or do I wait around a bit, and try and get it second hand for like $30...

Weelll, if we buy the new stuff they added mostly to the point it changes the series' outlook, they'll see that we want more content and not just figures. Though, knowing Acti, they'll twist that message into something stupid.

Swap Force and SC had games made out of the existing engines for the devs to take a break, but they were never released to the public. Some people were given these games by the devs themselves but there's no footage or any descriptions anywhere.

the lost imginite mine? its actully fit in some way to ro bow becuse of his drills.
