Does anyone know when and if Chompy Mage will be released? I haven't heard any news regarding the topic so I thought I'd create one for others with the same question.

As far as if goes, it's pretty much a certainty. There's never been a Skylanders that was made all the way like this and then pulled out.

As far as when goes, I don't think there's ever been release dates confirmed on Skylanders-just a general timeframe.

No, it's entirely possible that Chompy Mage is limited to Amazon. It would be the first time a non-variant were an exclusive to a store, but it's possible.

Well, that's a bright side, cause I have EVERY character from the first 5 games, not could counting any character redone for a series and I'm not going to miss any now.

Yes. Before I joined the forums here on DarkSpyro, I was regularly on Reddit looking for news about the non-Easter Thrillipede. A couple people mentioned seeing it in GameStop, but didn't know it was rare, and it was gone the next time they went back.

Could just be internet trolls wanting to look cool, but... *shrug*

EDIT: FYI, the last 4 posts above yours were in reference to Thrillipede being hard to find, not about Chompy Mage.

Ok... A year later after the next (new) game was released.. The initial release was just to TRU (Online). So under that scenario, if they have a new game next year you can find (Chompy Mage) it at one store next year. GOOD LUCK!!!

I know that Jingle Bell Chompy Mage has been sold in Denmark through December, since I got one myself, but I haven't seen regular Chompy Mage anywhere now that I think about it.

He is an Amazon exclusive figure the only way to have gotten him was by buying the Amazon 5 pack Sensei set. Will he every be a single? At this point who knows, We will have to wait and see I guess.
I ordered this pack 1 month before it ever hit and glad I did when he came in I was stoked. Good luck all....

When he was posted to Amazon with the villain bundle it stated that he was exclusive to Amazon. Of course, this wasn't mentioned out right, mentioned in a brief blip in the description.

Good chance we may not.

The way Skylanders keeps switching up their game, who knows!!

There hasn't been one before, no. I do hope that he will be available everywhere eventually, though. Otherwise, it would set a precedent I'm not comfortable with.

Most listings (that I've seen) have an asking price of at least $100. I got him for $30, which I'm very happy about. Still, if he turns out to be exclusive, that means they might do it again, and I really don't want that to happen.

Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement.
I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

Yeah and if they got away with it once they will pull the same stunt against which is going to make some Skylanders figures insanely expensive. Someone needs to give Activision a piece of their mind.

It seems it's worldwide. Concerning amazon:

United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy and France: unavailable.

Only the Christmas version is available.

In ebay... it's price is between 70€~150€ overall, and is relatively hard to find, United Kingdom, France and maybe Germany.

Exclusive vs timed??? If it is exclusive to Amazon then I guess you only could get him during the TIME he was available. Which in turn is the same.
So maybe you need to accept the fact that the time has passed and you will not see him again... If he does come available in stores then guess what.... he is not exclusive but he was still timed during the Amazon Villain pack. Good luck on your search.

Semantics. In the phrase "timed exclusive", "timed" doesn't mean "available for a limited time". It means "exclusive for a limited time", after which, the exclusivity is lost, and it becomes available elsewhere (resellers not included).

Pretty sure that was just with the Red Chase Variant.
