He'll probably have to do breaks despite being a marathon since he's streaming from the VV offices, it'll be pretty awkward if he starts saying stuff with other devs around because of sleep deprivation.

The last hour has basically been talking about Rituals for Rufus, and we also found out that VV did 9 of the cutscenes in Imaginators (12 if you count the Thumpin Wumpa Islands)

These are all the notes I have. I fell asleep when he switched over to Pokken, so I'm sure there's lots more to be discovered.

•TFB and VV are on fairly good terms with each other. A few guys from VV have gone to work for TFB. Animators, especially. (Can't wait for more cutscenes from the Visions team in the future! Keep adding little things that raise stakes like Mags swallowing her spit, Tuan! You guys are great!) VV usually pops popcorn and watches their cutscenes back-to-back, like your average Movie Night.
•Stormblade was originally a dove when she was Light, then a crow or raven when she became Dark.
•Splat's Inklings are based off of Three Billy Goats Gruff.
•Vehicles used to be able to fold into backpacks onto Superchargers and be summoned in a fashion somewhat similar to Sky-Chi. Vehicles also weren't assigned elements.
•QA testers thought that Rufus was the villain of SF.
•It was originally a programmer who mentioned that male peacocks are colorful, then a kid tester.
•VV hasn't changed much since the Bala Brothers have left, but they do miss them dearly.
•Tuan, one of the animators, considers Mags to be his baby. She's fun to animate. He also animated Rufus.
•Game Jams were mentioned. Gills of War was the title of one of them. I think he said it was just a bunch of Gill Grunts on teams fighting each other. Could be wrong, though.
•Rob Gallerani, also known as that one nicely-dressed guy in the Behind the Scenes videos, painted a few of the prototypes.
•Dave E. Phillips and Jeff Bellio still work at VV. Probably not important to some, but I really wanted to make sure. Unfortunately no character artists were around.
•Someone originally suggested for Splat to have a name centered around her species. I think Andrew said Paintyr, as a pun on Satyr, but I honestly don't remember. Names also have to be changed when new Skylanders at TFB are in the making. When Smash Hit was a koala, he had a name to similar to Bushwhack. Or maybe it really was just Bushwhack.

His name used to be Bushhack, but was changed because fo the similarity to Bushwhack

Supercharger vehicles at one point were not themed to the characters and when you super charged them they got features from whatever supercharger it was.

I'm gonna rewatch the videos and see if there are any tidbits that were missed.

Contact the lady on the main page of the Extra life on Vicarious Visions if you can. I heard that she's the one that takes care of everything.

It's the first time it's been done best to my knowledge. About two weeks ago I got an email from Andrew Carl asking for my address, but that's the last I've heard about it. You can PM me privately and I'll share that email, unless anyone else who donated has any other info about what to expect. I think it was UncleBob who also donated $100 as well so I'm sure he is waiting too. I am getting anxious about that nice Clutch artbook and to see what lot's of SuperChargers toys ends up really being. I have only 10 or so SC Figures/Vehicles, so I need lots of them. LOL!

I got the same email, but haven't received any further communications or packages.

Yeah, by the sounds of it they had way more people donate then they could handle and just got a little overwhelmed.

I just checked and they done just under $3000. $50 gets you the book, so that's at least 60 books doing the math. $100 dollars as well but with lots of toys. But I know several of us done $25 with hopes of getting a book but they were vague about if that's possible. So that's a possible 120 books requested? And then they need to figure out how many books they do have in stock, how many items should get signed, how many toys to get out of storage, etc.

I'm guessing that there were really about 60 to 80 donators in total and that's rather impressive if you're not ready for it. On top of that, I'm assuming all of this is done on volunteer time whenever they get a few spare moments from their normal workload. Thinking about it, it'll probably be another month before we get the stuff if the numbers are that high as it's a lot of packing and there are probably only one or two staffs involved. They probably can only do a few packages a day, right? I wouldn't mind if we were kept in touch better about it though.

Anyway, I done the $100 for the autographed book and "tons of toys." I still have no clue what that means exactly, but wouldn't you figure it that I just bought a ton of SuperChargers at the .99/1.99 Best Buy sale on Sunday? LOL I just couldn't hold out any longer to see what they'll actually send to me, if they were actually going to send anything. I was assuming tons was an almost complete run of SC as they are probably up to their eyeballs in extra figures. Now I need only 6 more SC figures and 10 vehicles, so chances are that I'll end up with tons of doubles. I would trade them all for just one cool Dec-Ember though! LOL

Actually, donating $50 seemed to be vague as well when it comes to getting the art book, while donating $100 guaranteed it, which is why I donated that amount, I'm a bit weary about the tons of toys, but I'm fine with it over all. I also just wanted to donate to donate, haha. it's a good cause and the thank you reward was too good to pass on.

The reason I haven't gotten the email from Andrew is because I donated to Richard, not the former, . My total mistake

UncleBob got Gnorc'ed, which a ban and appears to be out for two days. I'm curious too as I live an hour and a half away from VV and I've not seen anything yet. It would arrive in a day or two. Maaaaaan. I so want mine now! If they are going by alphabetical order, I'll be among the last. I hate having a last name at the end of the alphabet. I hope I'll get a variant in mine as well as I don't have any of chase ones. Someone always beats me to them. Anyway, I'll email them if I don't get them by Friday. I'll post images of all the loot if I do get them this week.

I just realized, I'm so spoiled! I got a ton of Skylanders cheap this winter. Yesterday I ordered some of the pricey sets at Toys R Us (like the crash pack) on buy one get one free which is rather good price as I don't really expect for them to be all that easy to get later on. Last month Gamestop had a buy 10 for $20 sale on all used figures and I filled in a bunch of holes on rares and minis. Also last month Best Buy had .99 and 1.99 SuperChargers and I got almost the complete SC figure set now thanks to that (I still don't feel any need to collect the vehicles though). And Black Friday Thanksgiving was a load of Imaginators for $10 each to unlock level content. And now I'll get whatever from the mail from VV. LOL If Skylanders is indeed ending, I made real sure to celebrate it with a fond farewell by buying tons of it.

Im alphabetically at the end too...i didnt know it was a holiday this weekend so thats probably the hold up

I got mine via Fedex late in the afternoon. Seems mine was sent out on the 13th. Here is the image of it:



Autographed a few dozen times on the front and back of the boxes. The book is autographed on the inside like a yearbook. I ended up with a Fiesta, Burn Cycle, Shark Tank and a Crypt Crusher. I know I have Fiesta as he's in the starter and I may have the Shark Tank, but the rest I don't have. Sweet! The Tomb Buggy is the variant!

I wonder if we are still off limits from sharing images out of this book? There are some Skylanders that I've never seen before in here, like an all brick lady lander that would have made a cool figure. A bat female riding a book and lots and lots of drawings of possible Skylanders. This book is totally worth $100, makes me want the prior one that much more now!
