...seriously though, until something official is announced next year we should all just foxus on the here-and-now. There are still a ton of skylanders we want, so whether it's the last game or not, let's have the most fun we've ever had this year instead of focusing on doom and gloom. If you'll excuse me, I'm off to hype myself up for getting wave three next week

They did check on their computers, told me a week or two.

Moving to Lightseekers is impossible for most people, since it's a big tablet and PC game and the figures will probably be even harder to find, though iirc only 6-7(if it's one per Order) isn't all that difficult.

Stiiiilll waiting on that footage for Wave 3.

Huh, my other TRUs has EEF in stock, but not the other Wave 3 Senseis. That TRU always has their stock on time or so...

Well, if skylanders gets cancelled, I don't know if I would find a reason to stay here tbh.

That said, I'm still very skeptical about all this.

Found a stream of Mystical Bad Juju on youtube, unfortunately in german. She does seem to have the Bash problem of being a sitting duck in the hardest to conttol attack, and her defense is locked to a path :I dunno about the other one since the pictures were unclear.

Hm I really hope Bad Juju gets some nice upgrades later on. She seems very dull so far.

She was so awesome in TT, what a shame.

I wouldn't say dull, she does have some room for cool moves, but it's all Junior. Your options for standing behind him and the wind spirits is to mindlessly whack what comes close or spam lightning because using the tornado combo is what causes her to get hit by everything - the guy wasn't too into the defense path but he couldn't move ahead of the spirits without pot shots from troll poachers. Again, hoping her tornado path fixes this, but otherwise she's the simplest type of puppet character which doesn't belong outside of fighting games.

On which witch, I prefer regular because she's colorful without looking gaudy, but if you want a simple but intense palette, Mystical looks the part ingame and outside of it.

From the video it looks like she has a sword path. No combos tho just some extra lightning and stuff like that.

Got Jingle Bell Chompy Mage yesterday at GamesStop. Fully maxed out, he's okay but I think Flare Wolf will be the better Bazooker.
Looking forward to Bad Juju, Chain Reaction and Buckshot, as well as (if he comes out with everyone else) Pain-Yatta combo pack.

Can we get on topic? I can't find new info on W3, and this thread is filled with a bunch of non-Imaginators related stuff.

I can't see what's not related to the game, personally.

We were just talking about Bad Juju gameplay and how there's a surprise in her design, tho? And Insane01 was talking about JB Chompy Mage.

I think I can help in this situation.
(Note: She has more defense when Junior is by her side, though does more damage when he's out.)

1. Attack: Regular combo with her blades. One of the regular upgrades allows you to press the 1. attack button rapidly to make Bad Juju spin around and do damage for a pretty long amount of time.

2. Attack: Shoot Junior out/back to you. He does damage to enemies in his path and creates a small shockwave after he's sent out.

3. Attack: Shoot lightning at Junior which also electrify him for some seconds. This attack does more damage when Junior is out (and yes, you can shoot him no matter where he is).

There's also an upgrade that makes Bad Juju faster while she's not attacking (so when she's just moving around). It's seperated into three stages, with each of them slightly increasing her speed.

The bottom path makes Bad Juju invincible for about 5 seconds right after she calls Junior back to her. Junior also curses every enemy he hits and when Bad Juju hits one cursed enemy, all others take damage as well. Lastly, Junior pulls enemies to him after he's sent out and before he makes the shockwave.

And I would think a topic like that would hold a bit more weight to it...

Though giving it some more thought, Superchargers underperformed too and yet we still another game. Granted I'm not taking that as proof but I do still feel like they'll give it one more shot, whether it's next year or if they take a break.

After all, the term is "Three strikes and you're out".

And people already said what they had so say, so I think we exhausted it for now.

Ugh, looking at Bad Juju's upgrades, they also never clarify the things floating around her since zero upgrades. Only way to notice they're ghosts is to turn on selfie mode or slow down footage, since the skulls are hard to distinguish; but they're still not named anywhere(unless she mentions them in lines).

Bad Juju is becoming one of my favorites of this game. She has great personality and move set.

It's like when you discover a character's nose is his mouth suddenly.

Can you give me a screenshot of Bad's back eye? I mean, print or anything.

Here it is in both games. Was about to say it was Imaginators only, but then I noticed I never looked at her in a cutscene - this is only visible in cutscenes where her back is to the screen and the camera is under her dreads, like her Villain Quest.

Doubt we'll ever find out if it's just a cool decoration or her actual eye, because in Imaginators it's pretty glowy with the visible pupil.

Also just got all wave 3 + JBCM, but JBCM was register locked at first for the end of the year. Since it was obviously placeholder date they overrode it though. I got there right as they were stocking the shelves, and there are six to a case. However, there were only 5 Chain reactions, and we know he has a chase variant. Very obvious the employee got it, even though he had just put them out. If only I had arrived one minute earlier.

Editing the unboxing now..great figures!

(San Antonio, TX) Just got Enchanted Elven Forest, freshly unpacked from the shipment boxes! They didn't have any other wave 3 stuff, but the shelves were pretty much picked clean from Black Friday so maybe they had it before. Also, my Boom Bloom's base isn't glossed over like Ambush's is, so it doesn't shine or anything. Not much of a big deal to me but I was wondering if this was just my figure or if it's widespread.

!!! Did you happen to see Chain Reaction or any wave 3 crystals? Mine was way over at 151, so I'm wondering if I should go back next week to look for new stuff.

If Skylanders is over, then at least we'll have enough time to do all those heroic challenges again.

Wave 3 is pretty awesome. Design wise, they're well done. Flare Wolf has an INSANE Sky-Chi attack. Though it leaves him open to attack, his damage output is OMG!!!!
So far, other than JBCM, I've not decided what path I'm puttin my other Senseis I got yesterday. Curious to see what Buuzer's picks are for W3's best paths.

Now the wait for wave 4. I'm hoping for Tidepool and Ro-Bow, and then the final mold for the tech and dark crystals. Then I'm all done for Imaginators. (It's be too nice to have all 4 toys in wave 4, but a guy can dream can't he?)
