I'll wait to do nightmare until I have all my senseis (need flarewolf, tidepool, and ro-bow).

If I do, I want to get all the Senseis first as well as build up my Imaginators.

I did nightmare but I'm gonna do a Nuzlocke challenge on nightmare mode after wave 4 is out.

Nightmare is really hard... or maybe it's just the fact that I'm mainly using swappers/imaginators.

Me too! I'm milking it so bad I haven't even started the last chapter. I want to get wave three before I beat it and play nightmare mode. I like to savor the game and make it last. I wish there were more ways to boost stats like heroic challenges or bonus missions.

I'm actually almost done with nightmare mode! I beat the game on medium day one so i started nightmare.

I already have a 100% Nightmare file lol

Glad it all solved itself rather fast, but I'd avoid fearing the Armageddon just for a couple bad pre-Christmas sales (which tourned out to be not even global), in the future.

Anyway, Wave 3 Skylanders look fantastic both in-game and in toy form.
The Enchanted Elven Forest's Adventure Piece looks gorgeous in its CGI model, hope it'll look just as good in hands.

Yeah, I agree. Also, didn't Activison say that they're working on Skylanders 7 and there will be a season 2 to Skylanders Acadamy? It'll have to be Skylanders 7 to be the last game if the Skylanders business really is suffering, not Imaginators which is really more popular then trap team and imaginators.

Also, as I think I've heard, It's most of Activisons games that are suffering from business loss, not just Skylanders. Yes, it is sad that a lot of Activisions games are not making as much money as they used to. But I doubt Activision itself would give up that easily.

Academy Season 2 is already halfway through production - scripts are done,voiceover is done, animatics are in progress. Acti could lose tons of cash and it still would happen because too much is already done.

It's not sad though, Acti is getting their just desserts. Yearly release is poison, almost intentionally trying to split fanbases by poor multiplayer and PR just kills the little fandoms their franchises have, and the DLC party just isn't affordable for Day One when most gamers realized a GOTY edition is coming out later with everything - heck, 60 dollar games with 50 dollar season passes are no longer affordable by the average player since every game does it and it's no longer novelty. Though I'd hate to see Skylanders take the brunt of the impact, the company brought this upon themselves. Though they'll still make profit and get away with it, since tons still preorder and tons still put their savings into something that's getting forgotten next year.

lets hope activision will learn thier lesson from all of this and be smarter next time, if they will do that we might get even sky 8.

Once I get Blaster Tron. Then I will.

I originally wanted to wait until I have all Senseis to do nightmare so that I'll use Wave 4 other than just running around the MAP. Though since I need the Wasteland Arms for an Imaginator I'll get in Wave 3, I'll just do it with the Senseis I'll have at that point and of course old characters becuase I know all Senseis will die at some point. Sadly that means dear Tidepool will barely be used, as usual with Wave 4 characters.

Imaginators just had a giant float in the Santa Claus Parade on the weekend. Plus a new Netflix series. The game is fine. True sales have not even taken effect yet with the Holiday boom around the corner. Not to mention a number of the unreleased figures have already finished or going through production.

This means nothing....yet, in regards to Imaginators. Wait until after the holidays or until someone official actually claims production has stopped. If anything only future games may be in danger or possibly redeveloped into a new format.

Superchargers and Battlecast I'm sure did a number on them.

Battlecast was wasted money the moment they decided it needed no PR. Everyone was super hyped when it was first announced, so of course taking 3-4 months of silence before releasing the damn thing is a wonderful idea? A 3D Hearthstone would've done amazing had people actually been reminded it was coming out a few weeks before, not literally a day or two and then no community building efforts whatsoever - of course it was sent to die and perfomed so horribly in the first week.

Which is a damn shame. We need more games expanding on the Skylanders that don't require figures. So many lines from them and the villains were such a treat, and Sonic Boom and Prism Break apparently just got theirs from whoever's still allowed to update the game(despite the team not being there anymore).

As mentioned earlier, amazon.it has all of Wave 3 for Dec. 9th. Amazon.fr has them for Dec. 2, but are more expensive there. However, The Boom Bloom Adventure pack and Painyatta dual pack cannot be ordered for international (US) delivery from either. I asked their English customer service (via email), and it is likely because of some manufacturer agreement. It's a shame, because I might have done it if I could get all of Wave 3 that way, but if I can't get Painyatta that way, I won't bother and just wait, he is the one I really want.

Based on lack of interest even in the first "burst" week, there were literally THREE people at my high traffic TRU on opening morning (that used to have a line around the edge of the building on release). It is based on the sales numbers we know. It is based on the clearance stuff at some stores. It is based on the massively downsized displays for the franchise (at my TRU it is half of half the area is used to occupy, with the other half of the shrunken area being used for old stuff). It is based on the fact that few people show up for new stuff (Legendary Pit Boss and crystals). It is the fact that stores have significantly dropped their stock investments in the franchise. It all adds up. If you think this is all based on a single Tweet, you simply aren't paying attention.

As far as the Dark crystal, the only way to get it outside the Dark starter through Wave 3 is the triple pack or the eight pack (which doesn't appear to be coming out in the US, but is out now in Europe). A Dark single is rumored that it will finally come up for Wave 4, but no one knows yet. The triple pack isn't a bad deal, but if you are concerned with collecting all the molds for each element, you are setting yourself up for disappointment - we all know how those late Wave items can be. If sales do not significantly pick up for the holidays, we may not even see Wave 5 - stores aren't fond of filling their shelves with product they will have to clearance out (like Yawn traps and Thrillipede).

Again, pay attention to the signs, the franchise is definitely having some troubles. I love the game and franchise, but it is how things are going.

As for the dark crystal, I feel this will be the scalper's target. It's going to be like anything light or dark in TT.

It isn't my first rodeo. Last year a line down the side of the building, same as previous. This year me, TakeYourLemons and one other guy.

And I don't believe you on Thrillipede at Walmart (unless you mean Easter Thrillipede). Maybe UncleBob would like to weigh in on this, he has the 911 on Walmart Skylanders. Absolutely no one else reported seeing that figure anywhere on shelves, the only place to get it in the US was online from TRU for a very brief period. Buzz Wing maybe, I've seen a few at TRU recently. Wham Shell was everywhere, but in small numbers the first year.

And you can whine about all you want availability of certain elements of certain things in Skylanders, you aren't the first. But it has always been like that.

I saw him like, 3 times, that was it.
I still see buzzwing, because that was never as difficult to get as thrillipede once he became rare.
I'm sorry for being ticked off at activision for making NOW essential elements in limited quantities. Whoever runs that ****hole needs to be fired, and Light and Dark stuff needs to be brought up in production, because people who either came late to the party or couldn't find Light and Dark packs for TT, can't get those packs unless they have lots of money, and if they do, they have a choice, spend $300 on a nice PC or a Game Console or heck, even a tablet or a new smartphone, or they could spend it on 3 pieces of plastic.

I'm really unsure about how to go about acquiring the dark crystal.

I wish I woulda purchased the dark starter to start but I hadn't really done my research and didn't know it would exclusively have the dark crystal is want.

Now it seems the dark crystal is only getting released in a 3 pack. First problem: already have an undead crystal. Second problem: I want to get painyatta, but it seems like he only comes with a magic crystal

I only want two things here: Painyatta and a dark crystal and I have buy a bunch of extra crap to get it :/
