In case anyone hasn't seen it yet, Flare Wolf is getting an Easter Variant.



I'm really happy about that since I adore Flare Wolf and I like the look of this one.

As long as it's not Easter Thrillipede, it looks good.

I grew up with chocolate-themed easter so I never understood the bright colors on the US until I got older. But yeah, Pain-Yatta is literally candy, him not getting a single holiday variant is heart breaking.

Official Skylanders YouTube channel just uploaded Mystical Tae Kwon Crow's video.



Not sure if this means the variant's coming out soon or if they meant to upload regular TKC's video and just made a mistake.

Well Christmas is on Summer around here, but stores always use Winter-themed things everywhere. Maybe the market follows the USA pattern.

Who knows? Mateo didn't say anything about Flare Wolf until now so maybe more's coming ( pls a Nitro Tidepool TFB ).

Tide pool should get a nitro and Flarewolf would of have been better as a nitro variant instead of an easter one : P

My stance is and always will be, every variant is stupid. I do not get them, and never will care about them.

Nitros are pretty dumb looking most of the time, unfortunately. Nitro Magna Charge was amazing but it's because it fit the character, not because we like garish yellow and white race flags painted on the figures. But of course it stayed over Enchanteds :c

Nope,she's already too muted so losing her few bright colors makes her bland. TKC and Bad Juju work because the red really stands out on them already.

Since we don't have a tech variant (yet), do you guys think we'll get one? And if so, who?

Both Wolves are getting variants? Neat. That makes it Wolves: 4 and Foxes 0.

We need a fox Skylander.

I think Flarewolf is actually supposed to be a fox,since his cannon is called the Foxfire Cannon, but it's another Mysticat/Scratch case.

I only got Nitro Freeze Blade, but i kinda like that one because its just his clothing that changes and his skin is a bit more shiny, i do think Krypt King looks horrible as a Nitro because the colors are just slapped randomly on him

It's probably small stuff like "Ambush is green", "Tri-tip smashes things" and "King-Pen was the one who actually blew up Cloudcracker Prison."

I think it is. You know, like that classic comic stuff where they say something we've heard a million times before. I saw it in a shop I went to some time ago, but I didn't bother reading any of it because I was in a hurry. It has some cool posters and stuff from what I can remember, but that's it. Oh, and how they used the same gift for about the 3rd time.

Well, usually the title Skylander is the poster, but it's two if I recall?

I really wish there were more scans out for at least a better peek, every month it's just the cover. Can't really spend 30 bucks on this,wait several weeks for it to arrive, only to be disappointed.
After they put away Mistle-Tow Dive Clops' backstory in there(it's nowhere else to be seen, at least until it was put in the wiki), it's definately not just obvious stuff.

The "comics" in those magazines are anything close to the... You know... The comic books?

Nope,super short,but they're still mostly alright quality. I remember the one from the first German issue with Grave Clobber making a plane out of bones to trick Flynn, for example.

Interestingly, the new Legendary comics seem to be centered around Spyro (Mirror, Mirror), Stealth Elf (Arbor Day) and Tri-Tip (Tri and Tri Again) - 2 old, 1 new.

Coincidentally, the 2 comics about old Legendaries come with Cube Crystals, while Tri-Tip's comic comes with a D20 Crystal.

A quick question to all the Traptanium Portal users: is it me or did they removed the Light and Dark colors in Imaginators?

Pretty sure it used to light up yellow and dark purple respecively up to SuperChargers, while now it uses white (Air) for Light and blue (Water) for Dark.

So I watched the first 9 episodes of Skylanders Academy last night.

It's not TERRIBLE, but I don't have a very high opinion, especially compared to other cartoons on Netflix. I've watched the Netflix How to Train Your Dragon cartoon, and it was way better. And the Netflix Voltron cartoon was friggin' AMAZING. So, Skylanders Academy: I am disappoint.

Also: they screwed Hex up, big time. She was supposed to be one of the most powerful sorcerers in all Skylands before she was tricked into being turned Undead, but she can't do anything herself except argue with her Skull ball in the cartoon.

For anyone whos wanted to hear the full versions of the Class Themes, then here you go! Ninja is so good...

Oh they did. Light was yellow and Dark was a really dark blue. Now Dark is the same as Water and Light is.....a slightly different white than Air. Kaos also activates the Water blue.

I like it better than what SC did: they didn't even get a color, the portal acted like nothing was there.
