Hey everyone. I'm wondering what Sensei to get. I'm going to get Barbella, Aurora, and Chopscotch pretty soon, as well as a Light crystal. I was wondering, which Dark Sensei would you guys recommend the most?
I've heard both are really good, and I understand both have very impressive figures, but I want whatever just has the best value, both in figure and gameplay. I didn't care for Hood Sickle in Trap Team (although apparently he's better now), but at the same time, I've found myself not fond of overly fast ranged characters in the past, such as Trigger Happy. Which of the two Dark elemental Senseis would you suggest the most and why?

Also, just a side note, for crystals, what elements did you find yourself enjoying the skills of the most?

Starcast definitely. His design is amazing and his soul gem is fun to use.

You didn't care for Hood Sickle anyways.

Yeah but he was a secondary villain in Trap Team with only two attacks to use. Let's be fair, Broccoli Guy aside, not many not-Doom Landers were very useful. Enigma and Head Rush were my favorites in that one, so I certainly have enjoyed slow characters in the past. Just, the secondary villains were very meh.

Overall I prefer Hood Sickle but if you didn't like him in TT I don't think he's different enough to change your mind.

If you like super powerful ranged attacks, go with Starcast. If you like super powerful melee attacks, go with Hood Sickle. They're both pretty fun.

@GaiaMemories Tae Kwon Crow is my least favorite figure in Imaginators.

Starcast is a ton of fun. Hood Sickle is cool too but I'd go with Starcast, his figure looks better and I think he's more enjoyable in-game.

As everyone else here has said, get Starcast. In addition to having a great design, he's really fun to play as, and his UFO Soul Gem Ability is just... incredible, really. He also does the Naruto run when doing a grind challenge, and that's just hilarious to me.

I think you all convinced me to get Starcast. Eh, I'm getting Barbella anyway, so i don't need another slow and powerful character. So Starcast it is.
