You complaining that there wasn't an in-game explanation is the same thing as complaining that Aurora's connection with Eon wasn't shown in game, or literally why any of the villains became Senseis.

Yes I',m serious. I'm not debating the cannon at all.
Yes, all of us on the forums know the bio and here, posted for your re-enjoyment: "With Kaos having discovered the power of Mind Magic to create Doomlanders, one of his first creations was none other than a clone of himself! Figuring that no one in the universe, including the SkyLanders, could ever stand up to more than one Kaos, he unleashed his clone in his quest to take over SkyLands. But to Kaos’ surprise, the clone – also being Kaos – wanted victory for himself! As a result, he decided to fight against his creator, in turn helping the SkyLanders in their endeavor to defeat the real Kaos!"

But think about it, a lot of casual gamers are confused (get messages from the sites) on how there is a Kaos figure while there Kaos is still the main villain, and think about how great and hilarious (especially with the great voice talent of Richard Steven Horvitz) would it have been to see Kaos create his perfect clone, only to be out done by his clone. That would have been a fantastic scene.

Yeah. It wouldn't have been at the end though.

Just beat the game finally, and...!

The final boss was decently challenging, especially if you attempt to beat him without using Senseis or Imaginators.
The ending was... kinda underwhelming. And Brain switching sides just kinda came out of left field.
Though seeing Kaos trapped in a jar was pretty funny.

I'm probably gonna wait until after Christmas to attempt Nightmare Mode... And yes, I'm still gonna stick to my No Sensei/No Imaginator plan.

I stopped questioning the moment we knew Portal Masters have the power to alter time and space.
Paradoxes and such are easily explained.
Sure, it might be a convenient explanation but it exists.

My personal theory is that you need to use figures to bring them back to Skylands the first time, and then you simply use them to summon the characters where you need.
I'm still working on this idea thought, especially since they never explained how SuperChargers and vehicles became toys (I think) and it seems like Senseis were summoned by Eon himself, which is still a stronger Portal Master than us and could be capable of such things.

Which bring us to the problem with Kaos himself being a figure: we've seen him escaping toy form in Giants exactly because Portal Masters are much more powerful than Skylanders, so it wouldn't have made sense if he ramained frozen.
Besides I personally want him to stay evil and be the series' main villain, and I doubt he would have the chance if that happened.

I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future.

No surprise I'm waiting for Bad Juju, maybe Elven Forest as well.

Hm, doing some calculations, if I don't get the game with plan a, I might have to wait for a price drop to get it on ebay. Even if I ask for help on DS to get it sent to me, 60% import tax is gonna suck and dig into the money I spared for Bad Juju. And between ghostwife and actually having the game, spoiling myself isn't the end of the world.

For scale, figures on ebay are going for 90-100 reais already, below import tax cutoff of 50 dollars/150 reais(there's risk but not much). The cheapest listings for NTSC WiiU starter packs are 260ish, meaning I'm paying at least 130 reais in tax, plus shipping, plus their bull**** storage tax despite us always picking up deliveries on the same day. It's far too expensive as it is when I could work on figures first.

I honestly agree with this for the most part. A few parts look okay together, and creating good ones is possible. But it's much easier to create weird looking ones, as most parts aren't that great.

Yeah some looks okay but ... they still looks not so good as official TfB/VV characters.
Most of the parts looks really weird and there are too many human looking heads.

It happens at random, you have to check on the status every so often. Last week people were able to order their figures within an hour before it ran out of stock again.

My best guess is that they allow a queue of 250-300 orders in the pipeline, and it gets opened back up when they complete printing a figure and move it on to quality control before shipping. I know that order numbers started in the low 1000s, and that the first wave of orders had ended the morning after I submitted mine (#1208) at around 10:00PM Eastern on Thursday, Oct 13.

There are definately too many human heads, I think there's actually more human heads then all animal heads combined lol , but yeah you really have to put effort in create a good looking character.

The fact that you can create terrible looking characters is actually a sign of a good creation studio .

But I still want more parts lol, they really do need to up the ratio of animal parts.
E.g. There's just 2 bird heads and one of them is stormblades lol. Where's the duck billed or owl heads?

Half the fun of it is the effort required in putting together something you like the look of. That's why it's so fun unlocking new parts and gear, because it's fun to experiment with new ways to change your character's look and possibly improve it.

Also, guys, remember Hood Sickle's voice actor change?

His voice actor had some choice words about what the lawyer that represents Acti and friends thinks about VAing. Would NOT be surprised if the overall unrest from this lawyer made him just half-ass the new lines, and honestly, when you get told that, you can't blame the person for giving up on doing a good job.
I know it's only tangentially ontopic, but c'mon guys I can't talk much without the game or even the ability to look up stuff on it >w>

I'm assuming everyone knows except me because I can't follow where the discussion is supposed to be at for this stuff, but I got TRU's Big Book of Toys today. They're selling the Legendary Creation Crystals each week from 10/30 to 11/13. Magic is first on 10/30, Light on 11/6 and Life on 11/13. Looks like they're continuing the free Kaos with the starter pack, at least through the holidays. A friend of mine at TRU mentioned they got a bunch of Kaos in so that seems to be why.

I can scan in the page if anyone wants to see it.

It might be the same VA but because they don't get told **** when voicing the characters he might've not have made an effort to remember how HS sounds like

This is all speculation, I'm kinda pissed after reading what some people said after interviewing VAs on how they get put in a room with a bunch of papers with their lines and nothing else, or how major Fallout 4 VAs didn't even know what game they were working on.
If a random dev or QA tester(or YOUTUBER,am I right asian guy gamer) can leak the next games and not get so much as a stern talking to, VAs shouldn't be left this much in the dark.

Jeez. How hard is it to say, "Ok so you're voicing Hood Sickle today... He is a dark, grim reaper type character that is super edgy." That's not a difficult process, IMO!

Blobbers is kind of a special case since iirc he's voiced by Alex Ness, who's a TFB dev that happens to be a VA. However, the fact you can tell it's him in one of the thousand voices he can make shows the difference - he knows the game he's creating, its characters and what David or Mike expect of him. That's how VAing should be, at least for introductions to the character being played.
