Just wondering if anyone's found any of the Legendary Creation Crystals that have been advertised? And if they have if they wouldn't mind posting scans somewhere.

The first one isn't available for sale until Oct 30. The second is for sale on Nov 6, and the final is on sale on Nov 13.
I'm gonna be really surprised if someone does come in and post those comics before then. |

Oh, okay. Thanks.
Maybe I'll check out my TRU and see if I can grab them for myself. |

Aura and Spyrocrash post scans of the comics on their channels, so I wouldn't worry about not finding scans later on.

Like, scans of the entire comic? That's not only illegal, but pretty tasteless. Can't we just support the artists and writers that make the series happen? |

I can support them when they sell their stuff digitally(and I have bought both Return of the Dragon King and Light in the Dark), I'm not spending 60 bucks to import a 20 page comic that's usually skirting the boundaries of the canon. Iirc the TT minicomics are also pretty uncommon, so it's not as easy as the regular comics where any US store would have them handy.

Maybe you should contact IDW about a digital release?
Regardless, the CC minis aren't even out yet... they could wind up on clearance three for a dollar. So this argument seems moot. |

Those comics are waaay too short, half the size of a normal Skylanders IDW comic which are already painfully short.

If you're just going to complain about them, then it seems silly to bother reading them.

I want the lore from something that doesn't cost 40-60 dollars+ to import, as I said. If took more than 5 minutes to read, maybe the price was justified.

Illegal? So it's against the law to post something online then? Also I think those artists and writers would like to have their work shared. |

Iirc they also don't even see a single cent after a few months, but that's after the comics have come and gone, it's another subject entirely that I haven't done any research on, just heard from other IDW readers.

Uhh... Yeah? Like, are you being serious with this question? Quote:
If they wanted their work shared, they'd post it on dA or something. They want to earn a paycheck so they can feed their families. |

Yeah, I am, because I don't remember that being a law. Ever. If it was then Aura's videos where she uploads scans of the comics would have gotten strikes. |

You don't remember copyright law being a law?

Okay, I can understand that. But it's not like the people uploading them are claiming them as their own (if they were then I'd agree with you). If people were just posting a scan to like Imgur to share it here to discuss something about that scan, I don't see how that's illegal. |

If I rip a movie from a DVD and upload it to share, but don't claim it as my own, would you think that was legal?

All right, I would like to end this here since this is going nowhere.
But before I do, UncleBob, I would like you to tell Aura that she's apparently breaking the law. |

Uh yeah it is most certainly not legal to be posting scans of the comics. And you should not be asking for them either.

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, I hate you. |
